I remember first catching the movie in '89 on HBO at a hotel at Disneyland. I don't even think you were born back then. :nana:

Saw it on my 13th birthday in the theater in 87. My dad took me and a friend so we could get in and he was cool and sat a couple rows back and about 10 seats down. We just thought it'd be a silly and fun little movie but when the ED-209 opened up on Mr. Kenny my friend literally doubled over and ran to the bathroom to vomit. He spent the rest of the movie standing at the back of the theater so he could exit at a moment's notice. :lol

Better uses of your time than watching Robocrap 3:
-Masturbation
-Masturbating in front of your school
-Catching Aids
-Telling a cop you slept with his wife
-Jumping off a bridge
-All the above

Your friend have a vajayjay? :lol

Run, don't walk, run to buy the 4K Robocop.

Its 8 freaking dollars.

Gorgeous.

Was holding out since I have like 5 or 6 versions of it already. But just picked up the BR tonight. :yess: Please tell me it's uncut.

Well he was so shaken up we actually stayed and watched Dirty Dancing (my mom and sister had arrived at that point and were planning on watching it anyway) to get the violence out of his mind. This was back when theaters only had a few screens and would alternate movies in the same auditorium.) No joke. :lol

To this day whenever I see any part of Dirty Dancing I remember it as an extension of RoboCop.

What does it say on the front cover? :lol

That clip with him training with the song Hocus Pocus by Focus plaing in the background was pretty bad. Any optimism I had for the movie died there I think. I'll still see it (it's "Robocop", the original film is one of my favorites of all time) but I'm not really looking forward to it now. It'll be interesting because I'll be seeing the original at AMC theaters opening night, then the the remake will be shown right after at midnight. I got tickets for both. :lol

EDIT:

Two more clips are up. Batman and Gordon arguing,

And I sort of liked this dream like one. I guess they're going to play it as a man trapped in a machine's body from the beginning? :huh

Just admit it, only reason you're seeing this is because of Keaton. :lol

You finally picked it up jye? :D

Had my wisdom tooth pulled yesterday, watched it will high on pain killers. :lol

My wife just shook her head when it arrived. :lol

It is the uncut thank the maker. :lol

Where are you seeing that AMC will show the original? I'm not finding anything on their site.

Those two clips are better than everything they've shown about this movie thus far. It appears Keaton might be a real scene stealer, that was a great back and forth between him and Oldman!

Really digging this IMAX poster :rock

I was reading an interview with Gary Oldman recently and he was heaping praise on Jose Padilha. He said Jose reminded him a lot of Alfonso Cuarón. I am not giving up on this remake just yet.

So he does have a vajayjay. :lol

I dunno. The cover on Amazon.com doesn't say **** and the description says "Theatrical Release" and I know the uncut version was remastered and released theatrically, but there's the other version which is also considered the theatrical release.

Thanks guys! :rock

You said you "just picked up the blu-ray" so I thought you had it in hand, not that you "just ordered it online."

The online covers aren't final and it does indeed say "Unrated Director's Cut" under the title on the actual case. This is also the first time the "unrated" scenes have been restored to almost match the PQ of the rest of the film.
