Watching it again it just looks dull and unmemorable to me.
Funnily enough it reminds me of the Total Recall remake a lot in terms of the tone and the way they've gone about remaking the world of Robocop , I get the impression this will be a film I'll watch and have forgotten about the next day. I really hope I'm wrong though.

Nah, you won't be wrong, that's exactly what will happen. :rotfl

Wow, Bruce Wayne, Commissioner Gordon, Nick Fury, and "does it come in black." Iron Bats indeed.

Silver suit looks okay. Everything that was cool in the original is hilariously lacking though. The guy playing Murphy comes across as a cocky punk, ED-209 looks like a stupid Bayformer, and Murphy's "death by parked car?" You've got to be kidding! :slap :lol

As an obvious Iron Man/Dark Knight wannabe with token 80's title recognition it seems okay though. I sat through all the Transformers flicks and Terminator Salvation so obviously I'll see this, just not on the big screen.

"Murphy" was only two limbs short of being Anakin Skywalkered.

So I take it there isn't going to be a "Clarence Brodicker" type character in this? I assume that's the case since this Murphy gets blown to bits by a car bomb (which I assume was rigged by OCP and Keaton).

Keaton can't be the only villain in this, unless this movie makes him Brodicker and **** Jones into one.
