They weren't cannibals. Eating a different species makes them meat eaters but not cannibals.

Unless Ewoks really were just human midgets in costumes, what a twist!

I'd have forgiven much of the vomit inducing cuteness of the Ewoks if they just included one scene with an Ewok munching on a Imperial Troopers arm.

I guess Ewoks didn't have a problem with human females either. Look how they took care of Leia before the gang got reunited

That would be crazy and talk about Disney linking this film to EP VII, VIII and IX would be a media frenzy

Yeah that's a crappy theory lol.

I know it's crazy right , but then these fanatics compared each character to each Knight from the TFA encyclopedia and the similarities are uncanny and one of the Knights is called the Rogue and the body looked female.

Look we all know that the Death Star survives this film and these characters are never mentioned in the OT other than spies by Vader in ANH . So maybe..

Two Ewoks died according to the film.. the one that died with his or her buddy running from the walker blast and the other the trooper shot and fell from the glider

That's all I remember.. not sure the two Ewoks with Chewie got killed

Hopefully this will be a standalone movie with the only connection to ANH is the transferring of Death Star plans to Leia's ship. I really hope they stick with the original ending with everyone perishing and this movie ending ten minutes before the beginning of ANH. This can be filmed in a way similar to the movie Saving Private Ryan's ending, which is an inspiration for this movie, where it ends on down feeling but the Rebels have won their first victory by stealing the plans.

Funny how you mentioned TDK, I'd put Talia's death tied with Rachael's death in TDK only because I wasn't expecting her to die, it totally took me by surprise she wasn't saved

Talia was worst just because of the acting and lines spoken. At least Boba Fett's leaves open the possibility he gets out of the pit. LOL

Well, if the movie is good, I will feel forever compelled to watch it before watching Star Wars (Ep. IV)

I can't watch TDKR anymore cause I always want to smack Batman over the head for taking his time to move the NUCLEAR BOMB to a safe distance!

But Batmans like... Let's listen to Talia's last words, oh, and let's have a personal moment with Catwoman before I remove this bomb that could completely flatten all of Gotham and kill all of it's residents. Not to mention the inevitable mutant villains that would rise from Gothms ashes.
