Loved the movie . I hate happy endings and movies that open up sequels so this was perfect . The ending was what we all expected from the characters(no one expected any of them to survive) but it was just so well played out . Every actor was good if not great in their own roles .

Man Felicity jones is just so much hotter than Rey

Will Disney / Lucasfilm enhance the OT yet again for alignment . I came back from second viewing and it's still very enjoyable movie. I caught a few more pieces of fan service I missed first go round which is fun (for me).

Found it boring on the first viewing and probably my last until it is released on DVD. Best scene was Vader's fortress. I thought the characters were pretty forgettable. At least they all died, which was a huge plus. I was worried Disney wouldnt allow that to happen.

It absolutely does. In the RO scene the data card is literally within 10 feet of him so he's just mauling them down. When they get on the Tantive in ANH he needs to actually find out information because he doesn't know where it is at that point

So he can throw a guy up into the ceiling but can't force pull a small little data card that a guy is holding 10 feet away?

Well yeah, the guy was right in front of him so to the ceiling he goes.

Data card was easier to hide and protect.

I think it's as much to the point of the scene feeling like one made in 2016 vs one made in 1977. That sort of stuff should have been what we saw in ROTS too, meaning Vader in the suit after he turned, etc, but by everything we see in the OT I had the impression he was a much more restrained warrior. I do like knowing that scene was part of some of the early ANH storyboards.

I'll look forward to watching that scene leading straight into ANH when it's released and see how I feel then.

Why did Galen Erso build an entrance port that only a Jedi could hit lol.

Eros had a shoot to kill order on his head. The alliance didn't look at him as a friend. also, everyone and everything died, except for the death star plans. they figured it out themselves.

Maybe if Vader snatched the plans... then finds out it was a trick, and the rebels pulled a switch and got away on the Tantive.

I'd like to see that actually. Think about it, Luke never meets R2D2, thus Obie, Luke's aunt and uncle don't die , Luke never goes on a journey and instead stays working for his uncle, Leia and the rebels probably die, Luke never meets his sister, loses his hand and meets his father. Han never has a kid with Leia, and that kid never kills Han Solo All because of a disc!!

But i'm thinking after Jyn's death that her and her father would be huge heroes of the republic-rebellion.

But i'm getting ahead of myself, Luke's assault on the death star wasn't that long after Jyn's and her father's death so I guess them not being mentioned in ANH holds up.
