I could have forgiven the poorly fitting suit, but the body language was just too much...
Agreed, the last scene was great, but it didn't undo the earlier ones.

Obi-Wan and Luke would have been ****ed if he moved like that when he fought them.

****, I don't think Darth Maul, Anakin, Obi-Wan or flipping Yoda could beat Rogue One Vader. Dude was a beast.

But think about it for a second, all of his height, vocal, maneurism and costume discrepancies were quickly made irrelevant as soon as his lightsaber was ignited.

Obi-Wan and Luke would have been ****ed if he moved like that when he fought them.

****, I don't think Darth Maul, Anakin, Obi-Wan or flipping Yoda could beat Rogue One Vader. Dude was a beast.

Yeah, Luke had no skills, swinging the saber like a baseball bat. Obi was old and really slow in ANH.

Anakin would get hurt like always. Maul, Mace, and Yoda could be a challenge though.

The best thing about Vader, for me, is finding out that when he's not busy, he's at home on his Mustafar castle, chilling in a bacta tank. Seriously, his pad would make Sauron jealous. Dude even has a weird old hooded butler. We've never seen this side of Vader before.

The best thing about Vader, for me, is finding out that when he's not busy, he's at home on his Mustafar castle, chilling in a bacta tank. Seriously, his pad would make Sauron jealous. Dude even has a weird old hooded butler. We've never seen this side of Vader before.

So Jyn's childhood toy was a Stormtrooper doll because her father is an Imperial engineer.

Rey's was an X-Wing pilot, does this mean something?

I agree with a lot of what you said, Rushmore. Would have loved the characters to be fleshed out a bit more, Saw included. Tarkin was awesome!

As far as destroying planets, that didn't happen in Rogue One. Two planets got some major damage but they weren't destroyed.

I liked this movie better than tfa. Way better imo. Could care less about vader popping his lightsaber. he is a warrior afterall so I expected him to go in swinging and we finally get to see that in a movie. Best scene in these new star wars movies so far.

I want that Tie Fighter/Jyn scene!

From what I could tell watching the movie, they used the shot of her, but flipped it so she was going the other direction, and then they changed the environment around her. The TIE fighter shot and the stuff with her running on the beach with the death star plans make me think they had a very different ending planned.

I was thinking, wouldn't the Empire need those other data tapes that were stored in that tower with the Death Star plans? I mean, you'd think they'd have backups somewhere, but they made it seem like it was all kept in the giant crane game that Tarkin blew up with the rest of the base.
