I haven't notice anyone taking about this very important RO character: Vader's butler. Who is he? What's his backstory?

Well the original Topps cards and Star Wars Storybook referred to Vader as the "Dark Lord of the Sith." I'm guessing that guy was a Sith, which is cool that we finally get to see one on screen...

Actually RO, ANH, and ESB form a nice trilogy with a similar tone and no goofy elements like Ewoks.

There's a dropoff in quality with ROTJ, no getting around that but I *need* that happy ending after RO.

Carrie Fisher suffered a major heart attack on a plane.

If she doesn't pull through then CG or not that last scene of RO will instantly go from uplifting cameo to hearbreaking sendoff.

I cared about the characters in RO.

My wife (who is not a Sci-Fi fan) was crying next to me when they died. My two boys (13 and 15) were at the edge of their seats for almost the entire movie. I'd say they did a pretty good job of investing the audience in the characters.

Saw the movie, it was pretty great overal. Tarkin was over used, made the cgi look cartoony and weird, actually reminded me of Jim Carey as lemony snicket. Should have just been a short and sweet cameo. Deathtroopers were over hyped cannon fodder, useless. And Jyn didnt really do anything in the final act, just climbed and hit a few buttons, every other rogue was far better at making me feel something when they died

Pretty sure she just says one word, "Hope!", therefore all current print of Episode IV needs to be edited to reflect that. LOL!
