It cracked me up when the music got all super dramatic and intense just because he retracted his breathing hose thing back into place on his suit. :lol

:lol :lol :lol

Me too. If this site is any indication his band of militants has quite the following. He recruited only the coolest aliens.

Yup.

Listen even it his testicles were cgi it's still not bad for the kind of movie it is.

when does this hit blu? sadly only was able to see it once in theaters.

First or second week of April.

Watched TFA in 3D with the kids this weekend. *Finally* completed our "SW marathon" of all live-action films which we started shortly after watching RO. The 3D is so good. The Falcon chase and X-Wing attack on Starkiller might be the most fun I have ever had watching 3D at home. Such a shame if that permanently goes away.

One thing about TFA is that it's so darn accessible. It's a movie that I find easy to pick apart or criticize here or anytime I'm not watching it but when it's on I just get caught up in it all over again. It really accomplished what Disney wanted it to do. "Make SW fun again." And it is. Is it necessary from a narrative standpoint? No. Do I love the manner in which they "continued the story?" Not totally. But I find all the new characters likable and I enjoy how the old characters were presented. I don't love that the Empire was resurrected as the FO but I *do* love how Han and Leia responded to it. And that goes a heck of a long way. Jury's out on Luke obviously.

One thing that I found amusing, even though TFA is absolutely my daughter's favorite SW film Kylo Ren definitely isn't the new "Darth Vader" for her. Not that he was really presented that way other than his outfit and sword. She laughed that Hux was "always telling on him to Snoke like two kids running to their dad" and that when he started destroying the room after Rey escaped that "he's kind of a crybaby." :lol

So that's one 10 year old's unsolicited take on Kylo.

Even though TFA continues the Episode numbering system and carries legacy characters from the OT it does feel like a soft reboot which makes me glad I sold off my TFA collectibles. I don't really need "two" overlapping SW sagas. The one I grew up with plus RO is enough. Can't wait for The Last Jedi, and who knows how awesome that will be and how many times I'll watch it at the theater and at home but I'm always looking for a limit on my obsession/collectibles and OT+RO seems right for me.

No commentary or deleted scene with this release. I guess its another double dip in December!

WHAAT!

How could they, no deleted scenes :gah:

Guess the blu ray will wait until after TLJ and IX maybe :pfft:

Guess it's just the digital for me come March

I'll be content with just the proper presentation of the film itself. Deleted scenes and commentaries are things I'd watch/listen to once and then most likely never revisit.

disney is just sitting on special features for a later date. it's extremely annoying. it might not bug you but it's wrong either way.
