The little thingy in the back of the round thingy.....may not light up,but it's there
"It no light, it no fly" rule... broken.

DS should've just hyperspaced right next to Yavin.

I believe TIE Fighters use a different type of propulsion than most ships, as TIE stands for Twin Ion Engine.
I was joking.
I'm willing to bet most on here already knew what TIE stands for anyway.
Of that I'm sure.
I actually said the same thing you did a page back about the DS having thrusters that get lost in its size. So the 'no lighty' thing was just being silly.
It's one thing I was really disappointed with in TFA -- that 30 years later and supposedly a new regime couldn't push science to the next level and create the next amazing craft. Crafts that could make the First Order more unique.
I don't get why they wouldn't atleast be red stripe painted Tie fighters andvanced or TIE interceptors. Those were clearly superior to the original TIEs.
The FO spent all its R&D budget on Starkiller Base?
What's funny is that apparently even Starkiller Base can fly around the galaxy (in order to keep system hopping in search of new suns to drain.) Where are IT'S thrusters?
Star Wars really has never topped the ingenuity and inspiration of the TIE fighter. It's such a crazy bizarre design... its just awesome.
