The devil is in the details lol

Yup. I do chuckle every time that one Mon Calamari dude tells Admiral Raddus "Incoming fighters sir!" when literally the only thing they are looking at is a giant plate glass window that is filled with like 200 TIE Fighters. "Thanks Captain Obvious, I would have missed them had you not pointed them out!" :lol

Yup that is very funny.

Tarkin sure sent out alot more Tie fighters in RO to engage the rebels than he did in ANH.

I think he could've taken Yavin just with an invasion the size of RO than relying on the DS.

True though I mostly take that as limited VFX. They did say they counted "30 Rebel ships" attacking and I doubt that Tarkin really only sent six TIE Fighters to deal with them. :D Though even in RO Tarkin trusted a single Star Destroyer (Vader's) to wipe out the entire Rebel fleet so maybe he really does have that much confidence in the Empire's pilots, lol.

Its amazing little movie that doesn't seem to get too dated considering its nearly 30 years old. It used "phones" long before we had them, which helps. It also has fantastic production design. And of course one of the great villains of all time.

The high rise itself was a character central to the plot as much as the people in and around it.

I bet Wor-Gar and Centurion make their pilgrimages once a year.

One of the best action scores aswell. Love the music in Die Hard. The late Michael Kamen.

Agreed. Funnily enough watching the end of RO again last night I couldn't help but feel like some of the music when Jyn and Cassian were trying to get the data tape out of the fault that the music sounded a bit Die Hard-ish. They were basically doing their own little high rise heist with palm trees outside while Bodhi/Argyle waited in their ride outside. :D

:lol :lol

EDIT: As I google it now it looks like I am mistaken. I guess it was one of the buildings that was demolished at the end of Fight Club so maybe I was just thinking of that. :lol
