The cinematography was great in quite a few shots, but overall I found this pretty underwhelming. It just doesn't feel Star Warsy. That last shot of Vader was super disappointing too.

it does look a lot better than force awakens, looks more interesting.

i didnt really felt as much interest for force awakens but i want to know what they do here

General buzz on my Facebook is people are underwhelmed by the trailer but excited for the film nonetheless. Personally, I think the trailer is decent. Doesn't give too much away, which is what I like.

I still say the Emperor will somehow make an appearance. His guards shown in the previous trailer hint at this. Perhaps at the end of Rogue One Vader has to confess the Death Star plans were stolen to a looming hologram of the Emperor. How'd that be for an ending?

All in all the only thing that will draw me to this is the fate of Jyn..does she die? Is she missing? What happens to her because they never mention her ever in any of EP IV- VII

Not even her name exists. Yes I know she is a new character, but story wise in the SW universe.

Never mind just saw the trailer on the big tv. I didn't realize she was limping when the Tie fighter sneaks up in front of her..maybe she gets waxed right there

I wonder if that's Vader in the TIE near the end?

Have a feeling like it will be one of the Rebel squad mates in it. Weak ploy by Lucasfilm in having Vader just take a breath at the end and then cut if off. What a joke.

Well this takes place before ANH . So It won't end with Vader finding out about Luke being his son, because he didn't know about Luke in ANH so I'm thinking it could end with Leia getting the Death Star plans and maybe preparing the journey to deliver the plans

Imagine if they blow this Death Star up and it turns out the Death Star in ANH is really DS2.0 making the ROTJ one DS3.0...

Nah man, this is at a completely different level. Make-up or no make-up.
I'm cool with it as long as it's not distracting, I look at this and I imagine ethnic and target marketing groups being ticked off, one by one by a Disney accountant.

And SW OT wasn't flat and awkward. Quite the opposite. The visuals here are nice but the acting and characters are straight out of a TV Show. Hispanic angry Spice, Kung-Fu (walked in from different movie) Spice, Power Woman Spice, Old Sage Spice...
It's the millenial Spice Girls. Ugh.

If this turns out good I hope Disney alters Star Wars to match this movie.
