Thought Bothans spies got the Death Star plans, and I thought Bothans were aliens, so why are they all humans?

Technically, they are still aliens.

Looks like the rumored cast list was right, minus Sam Claflin (who was my favorite of the leaked cast list)

Maybe he will show up... or maybe they are making him a young Han?

Edit - Or was that the plans for the second Death Star?

Bothan spies uncovered the crucial information that the second Death Star wasn't fully functioning, a shield was protecting it being projected from Endor's forest moon and the Emperor would be present for its completion.

Rebels under the command of Princess Leia stole the plans to the first Death Star during a raid on an Imperial facility and were intercepted by Vader off Tatooine.

Bothans died for DS2. This is about DS1.
