Bam! Pre-ordered! Two thumbs up for KGHobby. I pre-ordered my Brothers Inception Cobb (Or w/e knockoff name they used) from them in August. Everything went really well, and they responded to all my emails!

Haven't ordered from them before, but they are a relatively large and established outift that also has a bricks and mortar store in HK. I did a bit of googling and found no negative comments about them - I'm glad that Siquisiri and TotalDominAsian can report positive transactions

I would guess closer to the lower end of that range. Their Ra's is their most expensive figure yet at $320. Even if you add another $100 or $150 to that, still less than $500.

But just guessing.

Ill gladly take ACI's version even with the head sculpt not being spot on over paying that kind of coin. Not saying that theirs won't be worth it but I can deal with a little bit of inacurracies if it means saving some money.

ETA As far as the sculpt being off. Hot Toys released the NSW figure, which is a really good likeness of Crowe.

I am really anticipating this figure. A good Crowe Gladiator was at the top of my list for must haves.

There's always the chargeback option on your creditcard if its used as the PayPal payment source.

Edit: have to do more reading on this. My cc provider has a 120 day limit on claims, but there is some flexibility depending on the exact nature of the transaction. I'll have to give them a call. Oh well. I've done up front payments on PO items before without a single problem. I think it's highly unlikely I'd have any problems with this order and this store, so it's a risk I'm happy to take for the 50 bucks I'll be saving were I to buy it from a US store.

The fig looks amazing, especially the costume and armor. The headsculpt is a bit off, but you can tell who it's supposed to be.

IMO the best production Russell Crowe headsculpt comes with the recently released King's Toys German U-Boat Seaman figure.

It's comparable to HT quality, and would be a perfect replacement for the ACI head. Only downside is that the eyes are painted looking far off to the right, but I think it could work pretty good on this figure.

I have the hs in hand, and it looks 10x better in person than any pic I have seen.

The HT hs that came with the NSW Gunner is also pretty good, but the paint/eyes are a bit dated by today's standards.

As you stated, JMO.
