Glad to see Bardock in non-SSj form for once.

It seems that ever since that 20-minute special came out (which was essentially just glorified fan-fiction) everywhere wants to portray him as the very first SSj in every piece of merchandise

I wonder if the eventual S.H. Figuarts Raditz is going to have all of the striations in his hair. Even the S.H. Figuarts Zero Raditz has them in his hair design, too.

Yeah, me too.

I liked the idea of Super Saiyan Bardock in that special but it's great to see the iconic look of Bardock. Especially in his battle damaged armor he wore in his attack on Frieza.

Just finished watching the Android Saga last night. Well, the fourth season. I have a feeling Toriyama is going to definitely set up in the "F for Frieza" movie that Vegeta's ancestor was the first Super Saiyan God. Which would be truly shocking because wouldn't that philosophy and process of being the Super Saiyan God be the exact opposite of what Vegeta and his father stood for? It may explain why Vegeta was shocked in that scene during the trailer.

Yeah, him and Super Saiyan Vegeta are just going crazy lately. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they somehow are set at a higher price than SDCC Super Saiyan Goku at some point.

Gotta love Canadian Customs. My figuarts Trunks was supposed to arrive today (an item that I've already (foolishly) shelled out $300+ for as an early xmas present to myself) and lo and behold I get hammered with a $50.25 customs fee at the door. I told them to hold it at the PO for now to see if I can either get rid of the charge or send it back or something. Paying scalper prices is one thing but paying customs fees based on scalper prices? I have to draw the line somewhere.

Serves me right for giving into these ridiculous prices I suppose...

I honestly understand why that figure is so popular and considered the "Holy Grail" because it's the first SDCC Exclusive and it's an anime correct Goku, which is huge for the Western market, but damn...

The same with Super Saiyan Vegeta. It's a great iconic figure, because isn't that the attire Vegeta first went Super Saiyan in?, and I understand the popularity but again...damn...

It may just be personal opinion though.

I've been thinking about Nappa and I'm wondering if Tamashii is going to put a torso articulation underneath the bottom chest line in the armor. Similar to how Broly is designed but not as prominent. I would actually like really like that.



Edited: If they plan on making him...which, after Broly, they should really have no reason not to.

I purchased a Hot Toys Armoury, what was it? 500$? I had to shell out 150$ in taxes orz.

I've searched bids via Yahoo Japan for Trunks and it's starting bid of 20 000Yen upwards so far.
