I can understand why there's a desire for a Yamcha [and Tien], because despite being utterly useless he's still a Z Fighter, albeit retired.. people want the complete classic line-up on their shelves, which will forever be incomplete if Tamashii doesn't release them

Edited: Yamcha deserves an S.H. Figuarts. I don't care if it's the last of the Z-Fighters, he deserves it.

There's an old saying that goes "don't let the facts get in the way of a good story."

The story has to be good in the first place.

It's a bit of a geek argument but isn;t it also true that Frieza has no ****ing idea where new namek is? It's not like in the same place as old namek. They found a new planet and probably keep a more low profile now that they know other species know of dragonballs.

Goku found it quite easily. I can't imagine the henchmen's scouters wouldn't be able to detect the energy. Especially over the course of what...10 years?

Roshi deserves a figure in a potential Dragon Ball line at least, he kicked so much ass and had many great hijinks.

Yeah, I would assume he would be a main figure in that line when it eventually comes.

I read that in Revival of F, Frieza will train for the first time in his life and achieve a super perfect form. I guess all that training makes him even more powerful than Beerus. From the synopsis, it seems that Frieza's last two surviving henchmen come to Earth, find the dragon balls and revive him. Then **** hits the fan, as usual.

I don't buy that, no way can Frieza's training get him any where near that power. Also, I don't think they're his two last surviving henchmen unless that video of the hundreds of other henchmen are from a different time.

The planet that the Ginyus came from was a fully functional outpost. I could be wrong though, all of them could have quit knowing there was nobody to be afraid of anymore.

Thanks for the offer on the Old Republic stuff. I actually did play Knights of the Old Republic but didn't follow suit with KotOR2 and the Old Republic MMO but I do hear good things and read some of the SW:TOR Wikia. I'm actually a fan of the Expanded Universe and LOVE great novels and comics like the Thrawn trilogy, Dark Empire series, Shadows of the Empire and even the New Jedi Order. All unique and creative addition to the Star Wars universe. I don't sweat the whole PT vs. OT debate. I do agree that overall, the OT is superior AS A SERIES OF FILMS (filmography, script, acting, etc.) but that doesn't mean the PT isn't terrible (fantastic visuals, epic acting by MacGregor, great SW Universe-building). I, like you, look at the whole body of work (films, TV series, novels, comics, video games, etc.) and the Star Wars universe is pretty damn amazing and that originated all thanks to George Lucas.

We're usually always more critical of those things we love anyways.

Back to DBZ...

That Turles is sharp! Well done! Only comment I would say to the customizer is to darken the skin up a bit. They did a good job making Turles look like the anti-/evil Goku. I imagine that's pretty much how Goku would've turned out if he didn't bonk his head when he was young.

Kind of disappointing that we didn't see much DBZ Figuarts at WonderFest. Is there any other Asian Toy Festivals coming up that anyone knows of?

Finally got Krillin just the other day. I wouldn't have bought it but Android 18 had extra head sculpt and accessories for Krillin so I just had to get it.

It's really quite noticeable how much they scaled Piccolo down and Krillin up.

EDIT: I would actually really dig a Tien. But I highly doubt we'd get Chiaotzu unless he came with Tien as an accessory. And Yamcha should come with Puar right? That's the only way I'm interested in Yamcha--if he's got Puar with him.

I checked the Exhibitors and both Bandai America and Bluefin are showing up!!!

Have they "debuted" any new Tamashii products at ToyFair before? I would think this would be the #1 showcase to show off DBZ since it's ultra popular here in the States!

I don't believe so. They have a display of all the figures and then those that have future official release dates. I think the only NEW information we'll get is the next official release.

Just received Super Saiyan 3 Goku bootleg. The head/hair sculpt is ridiculously well done. Faces weren't messed up at all. Going to use the body to start custom painting. I'm going to start with a brush and if I don't like it I'm going to save up for an air brush. The box makes me worried the most because of how ridiculously close it is to the original.

buy some Model Master Acrylic paint and you shouldn't have any issues with handbrushing. I don't know how you plan on painting the skin but here's a skin tone that's nearly identical to the color used for the shading on the normal Goku (unfortunately you'll have to mix your own color to get the main peach color).

Awesome! Thank you! I'm trying to figure out the right color for the gi, too. I've always thought a lighter color of the SDCC Goku but I like how dark it is because when the light hits it, it really resembles the anime.

Maybe Hell. But I really think Toriyama is going to play on the idea of alternate dimensions. We could meet a version of Frieza from another universe.
