Yeah ive always noticed that. Problem for me is that bbts is well known for branding their boxes, and that alerts customs who gladly add duty to it. That and bbts has horrible international rates.

For me, anime island is much cheaper and most of the time can happily mark down the price to avoid customs.

I know it's pretty rough living in the UK with customs, thankfully that crap doesn't really happen in the US.

Can I just ask why alot of folks dont seem to think these will be carried normally? Is it fear of missing them or something else? As far as we know nothing has changed in regards ro Bluefin bringing all dbz figuarts to America.

Edit: I removed my comment saying you were correct Krec9, since it actually sounds like you are saying retailers WONT carry them. Did you just mistype or do you know something we dont? [emoji38]

I'm a little confused like most when someone asking will American retailers carry them it's common sense at this point in the line .their are plenty of stores that will carry them them just got to know where to look.

Just read first chapter of db super. Goku isn't going thru ptsd. He's just training mentally and gave Goten a lecture on constant training and to be prepared for any big bad foes that may be threat to mankind.

Curious why they haven't released promo pics for Trunks? Maybe he's still in need of some tweaking? Can't imagine what they could really do to him.

I understand SOME releases coming in as Web Exclusives like for characters that maybe wouldn't sell well or just for "special" characters. For Sailor Moon, they did that to the Outers (if anyone doesn't follow the show, they're not part of the main cast, but still integral characters). DBZ went ahead and did it to basically ALL of their figures. Now they've found the loophole around their own policy and will continue to exploit that to give the fans what we want as long they keep making their money. I wouldn't be surprised if they did "Advanced Coloring" for nearly all the figures so far (at least the most popular ones). At the very least, I predict we'll see SSJ3 Goku get one sometime down the line.

My point is that even if Goku is a normal release, they'll probably continue doing web exclusives for other releases and only some might be normal. And for Sailor Moon one of the Outers and ChibiMoon were normal releases despite being more or less as prominent as the other Outers. Hence why they could still end up doing exclusives with some normal releases here and there, which is at least preferable to just having them all be web exclusives.

I think TBlake is gonna turn out to be correct in that I think with Battle Damaged release they're sort of smuggling in a subline within shf dbz so they can make some releases normal again. We could very well get a battle damaged normal goku a la the zeroes as a normal release at some point etc. But I think many release will remain web exclusives.

Too bad I've stopped collecting Masterstars Piece Collection. It does look good.

I PO'd one time... and when I cancelled the order... they stole the shipping charge.

Yeah some compaies are principled in that POing deposits = paying that no matter what, them literal price of POing. But I don't plan to cancel anything, I wanna know if people have good experiences with them delivering PO's.

Another questions, we saw all those international tokyo toy fair pics but their display was bigger, anybody no a place where pictures where taken in close up of everything? They showed buuhan in a new way vs ssj3 goku for example.

You better put that in spoilers or else some people might get angry how you ruined their lives by posting that >_>

I don't care the spoilers, but I recognize that there are people who do not like these at the point of not wanting to see the teasers/trailers.

All I can say is that the order is as follows:

BoG > first episode of DBS > RoF

:wink1:

Regarding the exclusivity I guess this will happen: if they reuse a mold of a exclusive remains exclusive (and they name as -Advanced Color- or other), with a new mold the figure will be regular.

Which can be confirmed with figures to be released from February.

A separate comment: Some consider the body of the SS Goku SWA as a version 2.0, I only noticed the new abdomen joint just like Krillin.

What do you think about that?

I'm in a Dragon Ball thread, if I read a dragon ball spoiler I would be kicking myself for being stupid. I'm not reading a Game of Thrones thread for a reason.

Does Krillin use that same structure? I first thought of Broly when I saw it.

Of note, I thought SUPER actually took place just before BoG. But I can't read Japanese, so I was just going off what I read elsewhere.

I pointed out the torso articulation a few pages back when someone thought the blue shirt would be removable.

Also, sil, I pre-ordered both Vegito and Manga Gohan from Anime-Island. I ordered when they first put them up on the site and got an excellent deal and received them before a bunch of people here who ordered thru various other sites. I also pre-ordered the RoF Goku and Frieza along with the TruForce Megaman and Ultimate Gohan. They have killer prices if you order early enough. Manga Gohan was like $27 or something.

Yes I remember your comment blogness ;)

Another detail is that (due the damaged gi) finally Goku possesses knees.

2 great changes to considered the figure between a 1.5 and 2.0 versions :yess:

What's all this about some of the new figures not being readily available? Where is everyone getting their sources?

Their nethers.

The figures should be available on a mass scale as always, with the one exception being SDCC/Con Exclusives

I think on sdcc we will see release date for Super Buu. I don't know if absorbed or not, but i have that feeling, and for Shenron too. Ssj4 still not, but yes we can see him. I am exiting!
