@Orbital, you're awesome bro. Keep up the amazing work. You give us a chance to see legit versions of how figures could be improved. If it hasn't been said already, Tamashii should hire you to help design their figures, professional level work you supply!

As far as complaining goes, I do agree that excessive complaining just for the sake of complaining is stupid and leads to nothing. I don't agree that we shouldn't discuss and exchange opinions on these figures. The forum becomes boring if we don't discuss and share our thoughts. As it's already been said, as long as we do it in a mature and civilized manner, bring on the discussions!

Just a question. Why does everyone think they're going to unveil a GT line. They could honestly just show us the same thing. They're not obligated to show new things any way.

It's just speculation really, which is what most of the discussion about figures boils down to. It just makes sense imo that the reason why they haven't shown SSJ4 Goku is because they're saving him for some big reveal at a later event (SDCC). He's a very popular character no matter how canon he may be. He's very iconic and if they didn't end up canceling the Buu's I don't see why they'd cancel Goku. They had more chances of being Nappa'd than Goku and they weren't. With the recent developments and the boom the line is undergoing, I wouldn't be surprised if they did something like revealing a GT line.

Edit: And like Big D said, it's just not their style. They ALWAYS unveil something new and they were quoted as saying SDCC was gonna be big. They've gotta save something for SDCC and this would definitely count as something.

Not necessarily just a GT line, some of us are still expecting other prototypes to be shown, since if they dont it will be first time since they started going to SDCC that we wont see some "never before seen" figures. Its not their style. Even last year we still seen a couple, like Vegetto I believe.

Thanks for the answers! Was just wondering why everyone thought that.

A new GT line at SDCC would be awesome. Imagine a SS4 Goku, Vegeta, and Gogeta . Would be nice if they surprised us with some of the older characters we've been waiting for like Tien, Yamcha, and Nappa. Perhaps more Buu saga character: Gotenks, SS2's, kid buu. Or some new movie villians/characters. Maybe even some new BD figures. There's just so much to choose from. I hope we see something new at SDCC and not just what we've already seen.

They'll do Vegeta and Gogeta from GT, but I don't see them going any further than that... and if they did, they'll probably stick to just Super Baby, Super 17 and Omega Shernon.

At the minimum I expect to see SSJ4 (and whatever extras might await us with him) and Nappa. I'd love to see some more Buu Saga characters too. Regular Super Buu and Kid Buu would be awesome. Gotenks, Trunks, and Goten would be perfect too. So many possibilities for SDCC, I'm so giddy :blissy

I just hope they finish up the Buu series, and maybe give us some people out of the Frieza saga. Preferable Krillin, Gohan and Vegeta in their Saiyan armors.

Seeing as they've been giving us Goku's from that saga and with the resurgence of Frieza's popularity, I'd say it's very likely we'll see some more Namek releases soon. I'd love to see the Ginyu Force, Vegeta, and some of Freiza's henchmen.

Thinking about it, we might just see a good amount of new stuff at SDCC. We've gotten pretty much the full layout of 2015 so far and only one figure from 2016 (Trunks). They might just give us a glimpse of what they've got planned for next year.

I bet all gt plans tamashii had are canned. We'll be lucky if we get that ssj4 Goku imo. I really believe all new figures will support the new continuity. Some of you are going to be crushed. Sorry, Ang.

Same here Angelo2113 but some part of me wants to see how Burta and his tall size will be handled by Tamashii. How tall is he really?

@FatHotei I hope that's not the case. I wanted that SS4 Goku and A kid Goku also.

Continuity doesn't mean **** to Tamashii. They know how well Broly sold, they're not bound to continuity like some collectors. They took fan polls for a reason and they know what the majority of collectors want.

He's ****ing tall. Taller than Nappa. Maybe only slightly shorter than Broly.

Broly is likely the biggest character in dragonball, so Burter and Recoome wouldnt be all that impressive. I can see them getting the same treatment as #16 honestly.

SSJ4 is not canned. He's a very popular form of Goku worldwide. Like Ang said, they don't care about continuity or they wouldn't have made him in the first place. It's a toy company and they make what sells. SSJ4 WILL sell. I think we're safe, they're just holding him off for something else.

The promotional art for Dragon Ball Super, even though it hasn't aired, hasn't shown anything new for Tamashii to immediately jump on. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Tamashii release the recent Mexico/SDCC Exclusive Goku as their first "Super" figure.

Collectors, or maybe just me, would be absolutely livid if Tamashii finally made a Trunks and Goten figure but used Super attires.

Vegeta and Piccolo haven't changed. (I could go for a new Piccolo release with more face options.)

They simply lost/misplaced the SSj4 mold in their factory somewhere just like one loses their cellphone from time to time so that's why we haven't seen it lately
