exactly what this line needs.. Gokus and even more Gokus -_-

speaking of which, am surprised Goku, in his naïveté, doesn't immediately pick Monaka as the 10th member since he still believes he's the strongest in the universe

It's purely business and profit-driven...main characters make the most cash so we're going to get at minimum ONE Goku figure a year in some form.

However it seems for every Goku that we get, Tamashii shows or releases another one that leaves us scratching our heads!

I got Cell Saga Vegeta, PC Cell and Gohan. They're all great, and I think Cell might be the best recolor they've done. Although I find Gohan very underwhelming.

Goku did ask Beerus about monaka almost right away, he said no.

Yeah I seem to recall that as well, that Beerus had to find another excuse why he wasn't available.

Aaaah anime, where old martial arts mentors try to overcome their inner rapist. Man they take Roshi far.:lol

So, has anyone on here tried customizing figuarts with parts from the figure-rise kits? For example altering Trunks' jacket on the time patroller, with the model kit's? (Wait Trunks might not be out yet, anyway, just an example.)

That SSJ chick looks pretty cool in the previews for the next episode. It's our first peak at a female SSJ and that's pretty awesome. The Sailor Moon transformation was pretty unexpected but it was neat. I loved the TFS reference with Popo's eyes too. Vegeta needs to be careful of the pecking order [emoji38]

Overall a solid episode and it's got me pretty excited for the upcoming tournament. Super's had its rough patches and still lacks in some major areas but it improving for sure. I feel like it's found a good balance of humor and seriousness coupled with nostalgia.

More potentially-widespread QC issues? This is why I don't buy DBZ Figuarts outside of retail where I can't return/exchange if my figure has a noticeable problem.

For sure, but I've had issues with joints on a few DBZ figures to the point where they can't hold a pose. Maybe I'm being picky but that's one issue that particularly irks me.

Yeah, i think you may be exaggerating a bit there canuck. I have all the figures as do quite a few others here, and the last figures to have that sort of issue were scouter Vegeta and Cell, both very old figures at this point, and both with new versions either out (PCE Cell) or coming (2.0 Scouter) which are much improved over the old ones. SDCC Piccolo is perhaps a bit loose but not to that extent and SDCC Gohan has the arm problem but thats merely from reuse of the mold, hence why a new 2.0 was made of him.

Scouter Vegeta and SDCC/2nd reissue Gohan have the only widespread QC issues in this entire line as far as im aware, thats a very small margin at this point.

To reply to Snake: My Vegetas are fine, but one of my two Trunks has a loose left arm. Its likely as you said to be so they swap out easily and not a QC issue.

Fair enough. The figures that I was referring to are those that you mentioned, though.

When it comes to collectibles in general, I like to have the option of return/exchange in case there's a noticeable issue. If I buy something from eBay and it contains a QC issue then I normally can't return or exchange it, which is doubly bothersome if it's an expensive, out of date figure. I know that I can tinker with it, tighten the joints myself and so on but, depending on how much money I've spent, I feel like I shouldn't have to. Plissken's post regarding Vegeta had me concerned is all, as I might decide to buy that figure somewhere down the road.

Like I said, I'm picky and I'll be the first to admit it. :lol

I think it's just the luck of the draw. The original Super Saiyan Vegeta I have has an incredibly loose head, it barely stays on the neck joint.
