Kind of disappointed with this release...ugh...

It does look solid though, props to Bandai-Tamashii on a solid headsculpt and paint job once again.

Lazy design...we get a lazy product right behind it. Oh well.

i feel like they couldve at least used the original prototypes arms and sleeves. Since the clothes are baggy i feel like they couldve gotten away with doing that. It's a shame they had the original perfect in terms of looks, proportions, and colors, the only thing was that it was somewhat old style articulation which made it look a bit ugly in terms of joints. I MIGHT consider this one, but we'll see. Honestly all they had to do was do new hips and thighs on the original and it wouldve been fine, or just retool it to have the 2.0 tips and knee caps. I guess they thought they spent all this budget making a new goku 2.0 theyre just gonna take the prototype head and neck and stick on this one. And also what's up with tryihng to advertise the yellow aura lol, the red flame aura would look better with that figure, and also not sure why they went with the yellow color either, had it right he frist time around. Anyone else feel like the original head and face sculpts looked better too? As well as the coloring of the hair?

Everything about the original prototype looked better. I actually thought the knee joints they had going were better than the finalized stuff we have now

I gotta admit, Tamashii is making it kinda hard for me to collect every single figure they produce :/

imo we only need 3 more Gokus: SS4, end of Z/GT outfit, Chibi Goku. We don't necessarily need a SS2 Goku figure, we just need the head mold.

Nah, Goku needs an update to all his releases now we have seen the 2.0 mold. He just won't look right next to the others now, and his shoulders will always make him look like he has monkey arms to me.

I think we need to start seeing this as a fresh line honestly; it all changed with awakening Goku, the line was rebooted, so to speak imo.

I couldn't agree with you more, Deano. Super Warrior Awakening Goku revolutionized this line. As much as I appreciate the older releases, the updated quality is too hard to resist.

The gi color is likely that way literally so they can advertise the (innaccurate) effect part with it. Annoys me even more seeing the amazing pic cooler posted!

I finally did it and ordered Cell Saga Vegeta, Premium Color Cell & Gohan too. They should get here tonight. I'm debating waiting on SDCC for Kaioken Goku. If not, I'll bite the bullet and pay $200... I'm an ass.

Like others have said...I don't foresee this being a "hot seller". It definitely will sell...perhaps better than some of the PC re-releases and POSSIBLY more so than the Xenoverse figures...but otherwise, it's a very lackluster figure. I suppose SSG Goku ranked high on some of Tamashii's surveys? However they threw a HUGE curveball by switching the prototype around and making it way more inaccurate.

I just want SS4 Goku at this point...I'd be happy with a SSGSS Goku 2.0, but let's do SS4 Goku!

Actually, come to think of it...we may see SSGSS Goku 2.0 in this exact outfit (with the corrected tan boot ropes) with an updated head-sculpt in the near term, same with SSGSS Vegeta using the 2.0 sculpt. That's the characters' current "looks" in DBS and from the business perspective, Tamashii would be stupid not to capitalize on that. Also, don't forget back Vegetto 2.0 with a SSGSS head-mold.
