I loved the tag team of 18, 17, and also Goku and 18! That was fun to watch! Then came the "Pride" team who trapped Kale and Caulifla in some kind of dimensional barrier that's supposedly impenetrable by any means. It was pretty interesting to see that Kale seems to have gained complete control of her Broly powers, first powering up to a decent SSJ or SSJ2 form before going "Ultra" Broly mode during the beam battle. I think what's most interesting is that Kale seems to have the power to break through dimensions. When she got depressed and angry, she blasted her way out of the dimensional barrier that trapped her. She's also able to reach "ultra" form at will and she combined her energy with Caulifla to blast the Pride team and shatter the dimensional barrier that was covering the area. It was also satisfying, although a bit shocking, to see the 5 of the Pride team get taken out by the two lady Saiyans, leaving only the strongest ones behind. I wonder if those two would reach SSJ3 form or something different near the end of the tournament.
Maybe Kale's ultra Broly power is unique since it could actually destroy dimensional barriers? When Goku tried getting into the area covered by the dimensional barrier, he couldn't do it because he couldn't sense the energy inside. It's definitely a different dimension. Maybe Kale will have some kind of very important role to play later, especially if whoever is scheming things around finds out about her unique dimension breaking powers. Who knows, maybe there's some kind of evil god that was trapped in another dimension that needs to be busted out and the villain could use Kale to break open that dimension lol!
Anyway, I just wish they'd show more of Frieza tormenting other fighters instead of him walking around with barely alive bodies to throw away.
