Thanks guys. I wanted to know the official scale because I was thinking of buying some random 1/12 accessories to maybe have some fun with my figures :D

I guess I might have to buy a 1/12 accessory to see for myself.

I didn't intend to do this today, it just sort of happened.

I made a more accurate version of Frieza's death ball from the anime. The one that got swallowed by the spirit bomb.

now thats sexy looking although the reflection kinda throws me off.

but still :drool

Grrat work Frankie I would buy all of them but there too expensive for me its half the price of a figure could you offer unpainted kits.

Hey FrankieDF, what materials do you use to make your effect parts?

I'd like to know too, but I doubt he would tell us, as we are among his primary buyers lol; he gives us the recipe and process and all of a sudden his idea stops making money, which is fair enough.

To be honest, by pure looks alone it looks like glass, though I assume it isn't, that'd be both too heavy and to breakable...

In any case, they're translucent and there's to my knowledge no such thing as translucent paint.

I recently found out about this SH Figuarts as well I have been a huge DBZ fan for years read the mangas and own all the DVD series. Had a few of the Hybrid figures but they were getting crazy over priced and then I just stopped collecting them in general.

But saw these online sometime last week and Ive already scooped up Regular Vegeta SSJ Goku and Final form Freiza. Gonna be getting Perfect cell and Trunks. I hope to god they made a BROLY Picked up a MMPR 20 year anni Green Ranger as well

Its either molded that way it he is using clear paint then does a glossy finish for the shine.

Don't get the Broly appeal I for one will be skipping him if he's made.

My guess is that its just some sort of dye added to the plastic, because I dont know of any paints that go that translucent.

I heard of a process that involved heating the plastic with a heat gun until its plyable, then moulding it like putty or in a mould, it also comes out shiny like Freddies so idk if thats how he does it, definitely very professional in any case.

:exactly: keep away from the movies we need kid Buu.

I kinda personally have to agree with this. Sorry movie fans, I genuinely think the series deserves priority in such a young line. But... If Broly IS indeed as popular as he sometimes seems, maybe it will keep the line's sales going, at least that'd be good for everyone.

for anyone who don't think you keep paint on clear look no further
