Jayrod88 already got a response from Tamashii's american twitter saying both Nappa and Shenron are under evaluation as a possible product.

Personally I think we have a very uncertain year ahead of us because they've now released the first three in repaints and the line has also been more popular then ever it seems. I think 2014 might be the first year that Tamashii might consider this line as out of testing zone and into something stable. Therefor it's hard to gauge how they'll approach it from now on. They're asking fans as they often do, so if Kid Buu for example won their survey he might see a much earlier release then we'd expect. Goku and the Android siblings seem to be assured for 2014, pretty much. Apart from that anything could happen I'd say... I think upcoming NYCC will be a good indication. Whatever familiar proto we'll see popping up there again will likely go into production I'd say.

I expect 5 new releases (Goku, 17, 18, Nappa + Survey result or Shenron) and a rerelease (SSJ Vegeta or Gohan), with one of those total 6 being the sdcc exclusive for 2014.

Just out of curiosity, what is the figure release frequency for the other popular figuarts lines (ex. Kamen riders, Saint Seiya, Super Sentai)? I'm guessing probably pretty high for the Kamen Riders and Sentai figures given that many of them are repaints or slight mold modifcations.

It varies from line to line. In general, you have to think of it more like each line as a whole, instead of each individual Figuarts line. While some "sub-lines" get more releases in general, I think Tamashii tries to be fairly balanced with each tent-pole line. Figuarts, D-Arts, Robot Damashii, MonsterArts, etc.

have SDCC piccolo and green ranger still in package.

i feel i have lost interest in collecting anymore toys.... unless its just cause i have a new place and itching to buy furniture and paintings... ah well... we'll see...

Official pictures usually are available months before the figure release. We should get official announcement and pictures from regular Goku or 18 really soon if they really intend to release them early 2014 (Goku at least)

I think were due for another update soon, they usually give out another release date when a new figure is about to be released, like when scouter vegeta was about to be released frieza got his release date like right at the same time

I don't expect Goku before start of February, so in a month or so, closer to Krillin's release, I expect some promo images of Goku and to finally know what he'll include.

18 said now planning at sdcc, which means it's pretty much been greenlit as a production I'd say, and they'd really have mad fans on their hands if they release 18 but not 17, I mean that'd be ridiculous. Especially now we've seen a version I think most are pretty much okay with already. I might not buy 18 until we have an official 17 confirmation, because if they ditch 17 they can keep their 18 too as far as I'm concerned.

So yeah, I do kinda see Goku and the twins as pretty much something we can count on being released...

Nappa and Shenron, that's utter guesswork.

IMO, 18 is a much more important character than 17. I mean she's still part of the regular cast in the Buu Saga and married one of the main characters. I'd personally get an 18, but not a 17.

They're both important but like always toriyama forgot about 17. So eh... Also here's some photos from a member, in the db figures site I've mentioned quite a few times, about the BENDA bootlegs. I say scrap Nappa phony anyway make Majin Buu.

Woh. Woh. Woh. Woh. Woh. No way. Nappa is the best. Nappa forever. I'm dead serious. You don't **** with Nappa. Majin Buu is nothing compared to Nappa. The Saiyan Saga is the best ever. I would rather buy three Sabiamen, Nappa, Raditz, base Goku, kid Gohan, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha before Majin Buu. I love Majin Buu, don't get me wrong, but the Saiyan Saga is king in my book. That and I also have the recent Banpresto Majin Buu and that works pretty great for me.

Nappa may or may not come out due to his size, but at the very least there is a possibility. Buu on the other hand is almost needed for this line, not just for SS3 Goku, but to complete the main villian line up.

I hope for both, but id rather have Buu.

I am talking about kid Buu btw lol.

Also, this is my opinion but, whats with the interest in the saiyan saga friction? To me, when compared with any other saga it is just outperformed lol.

I'm a pretty big fan of "Dragon Ball" and the Saiyan Saga feels more like a continuation of that than it does a part of Z. I like the general feel of it, and that it was more a real struggle for Goku. There was no Goku magically getting super strong last minute, or ultimate weapon, but a lot of luck and team work. I just think of it as a high point in the series. Plus the introduction of Vegeta and Piccolo really becoming a good guy was pretty memorable. Along with the Frieza saga, there is just a lot of character development that I like too. The Buu saga is great, but there are things that I don't like about it compared to the preceding sagas.
