The more I think about it, it's a fantastic idea for real minor characters that would never see a release otherwise. Great idea!

Sentai figuarts usually always come with a part to form a special weapon, and I dont think its a bad idea unless it ends up being something meaningful like dragonballs.

Zyuranger/mmpr figuarts for example; black, blue and yellow come with parts to form their cannon finisher, a cool accessory but by no means needed unless you plan on posing them that way.

I would chuck him in the figuarts zero range tbh, no need for articulation on characters like him.

I'd put the dragonballs bundled with shenron if he gets released, at least they make sense being with him.

I was thinking for an accessory pack, because I wouldn't want important small characters like Goten or Kid Trunks, to be grouped in with a bunch of accessories for characters people might not buy. I want those, but I may not want to pay for an accessory to Napa if I don't want him.

Tamashii really need to start making accessory and effect packs already; kamen rider literally gets about five a year, yet we pretty much need some and we dont even get heard? Annoying!

I mean, kamen rider fourze, one figure, has had about 7 packs in the last couple of years, just for him??

I totally disagree with this. I really hope they don't stoop to something like this; including some dragonballs so you have to buy all the figures to get them all. Or including an alternate face for another figure. When I am paying prices for a premium figure, I expect them to be stand alone and include whatever accessories fit with that figure. I only plan on buying the figures on like and don't want to be forced into picking up a figure I don't like just to get an accessory for another character...

Gonna have to side with KPman on this one. SHF Figuarts is not a friggin retail Marvel Legends line. Anything an SHF figure comes with should support that specific release, and keeping the price as low as possible is the second priority. Just accept minor characters are MINOR characters, that's the drawback of drooling over something that wasn't meant to be popular and in most cases therefore never is. Hell there are entire franchises I'd like SHF versions from that I'll never get. Why? Because it's just not in the cards. Business is a majority game and SHF is a prestige product line making it a supermajority game. So... oh wait... I feel it coming up. Oh....Oh yes, oooooh, oh here it comes, yes yes yes aaaand

Now what Sci-Fri suggested is exactly what we need: general accessory packs. I've seen them for the robot spirits for example. That's an awesome supplement. We need to get on this as a community and start harassing them about it.

I hope they get on it as well. For those who were asking for a saibamen or a cell jr, maybe that could be one of the accessories. They might not get the specific face they wanted and no poseability, but like I said, it's an accessory, and probably the only way they could get one. Although I might not care to get one, someone might not want one of the faces, but maybe it might draw people to buy the other figures, because they mayhave a might as well mentality. Or they would sell that one accessory they don't want. Maybe people don't care to have a special beam cannon and just buy the pack for the faces. I think it would be good business.

Although, it will probably take time away from a new figure to get an accessory pack, and the rate they're releasing them, I'd much rather have no accessory pack and get a new figure instead. But ideas are fun!

You think so? Because I'd be inclined to counter 'not in Japan'...

I mean, beats me, I can be totally wrong, but I'd expect Tamashii to remain most focussed on Japanese interest and DBZ is clearly not one of the top dogs in that department in Japan (not till perhaps Kai breaks).

Idk, I guess, overall, as it stands I'm a tiny bit disappointed, or better said, cautious now on where DBZ stands with them. I don't at all think the line's ending, but, I don't exactly feel like it's flourishing either. It's popular in the west, but I think it needs to be popular in Japan for it to actually see material gains such as an increase in releases, don't you think?

I think the US market is, and has been, carrying the SHF DBZ line for awhile now. I don't think Bandai is really concerned with how the line is doing in Japan. As small web exclusive runs I don't think they're struggling to sell the figures there. Much like MMPR, the US market is what is creating the demand for the figures and getting them made imo. I could be wrong, but it seems that way.

^Yeah I think that's quite factually accurate. My only point was in order to INCREASE<- releases, actively lifting the line up from what it's now, that would take more Japanese interest I suspect. I'm not sure if the non-asian market has grown enough to warrant Bandai upping the production for SHF DBZ... But, I'd rather be wrong here haha.
