"Klilyn" is a pretty awesome figure just his distructo disc is really cheap an crappy lookin lol but overall pretty good

Trunks was the favourite Dragon Ball character of Akira Toriyama, and you can swap the hair of Broly to get this haircut in super saiyan, it´s similar

In any case, I need more then a cool look (and I don't debate Broli looks pretty cool) to be a fan of something.

That's the reason I don't like most block buster action movies or any of the Marvel movies other than the first Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk. I can still be a fan of the art though! And these figures are not characters. They're just figures, so none of them have depth, outside the quality of the sculpt, paint apps, and articulation. I love Korin and am a big fan of his character. I'm not a fan of Broly's character. However, I'll pay his price, because it will be an impressive art piece. I like Nappa more than Broly, but I don't care to have a figure of him, because his design doesn't really stick out and there's characters I like much better and would I would rather them take up that "figure space". I loved the Ginyu Force, but unless I'm mistaken, they didn't have much depth to them. However, they got cool designs, so I'm more inclined to get figures of them.

Been pretty good! All is finally well at home, finances are back in order after some doctor bills an school bills from my fiancee. Which means I'm back to this line. I have to start all over, but it will be fun.

Broly? Hell yes! I still want that damn Nappa. Any other new announcements?? Seems like Goku has been the latest.

Nope, Piccolo is. Toriyama has said he loves the redemption arc of Piccolo, a villain turned truly good. I guess it makes it even more funny Toriyama does indeed dislike Vegeta.

I read a interview of Akira Toriyama and he said this:

"During the Cell´s saga in the manga, Akira Toriyama clarified that his favorite character was the Trunks of the Second Timeline that became a great warrior by the lack of his father Vegeta, because the Trunks of the original line of the time counting with his father never got both power and personality development of a brave and noble warrior."

He said that Trunks is based in Edward Furlong as Jhon Connor because both are saviors of the future

And yeah I still pretty much assume Android 16 is inspired by Arnie's Terminator... Especially if the influence for Trunks is already there.

Afew bucks above retail. No scalping here! Plus, my fiancee comes first. Toys can be repurchased, she can't be. Besides, with the long wait inbetween releases, I can have plenty of time to catch up.

Its not a bad thing that the box is different, otherwise I would have a much worse problem than I already do in regards to it. As long as they dont pretend to be real I have no issues with bootlegs if they are made for customisers, its when they trick people into thinking they are buying real that I think they should be destroyed in fire.

Unfortunately Silrian there isnt much anyone can do about it; as I said before, some folk do actually want these bootlegs, and they are as much a part of this thread as we are. Its their money to waste, so I say let them.
