Changing the body to the normal SS does help that figure a lot. Looks pretty decent now. + repped.

Sweet! I've just tried this with my SSJ3 Goku and it is indeed loads better! not just looks-wise, but my SSJ3 Goku's body had a really loose waist. Now that's been sorted the figure can actually stand up, even without the Tamashii stage, which was previously a complete no-no! It might take me a while to trust it though hehe....

It's not actually that hard to remove the neck joint - I was going to try it a while ago, but chickened out. It really isn't that bad, just be firm and wiggle it out - the neck is actually a softer plastic than I previously realised. Fitting the SSJ3 head was a bit trickier, but it went on without too much hassle. Probably does mean I'm gonna have to get another SSJ Goku now though....

Saw that someone put the folded arms from Saiyan Saga Vegeta on super saiyan vegeta in a pic posted here ages ago. Does anyone know if thats a permanent mod or can the sets of arms be interchanged. Pulled at the arms but they wouldn't budge and I'm a bit scared to pull him apart with force and break a really expensive figure! Also I've just seen Dragonball Evolution is on tv in a bit, never seen it before. Might be brave and have it on in the background while I do work.

it's interchangable. i switched it out a few times

No problem! also thanks to Blood for the pictures! they gave me the urge to try it for myself.... really prefer the way the figure looks now, won't be swapping them back over any time soon! SSJ3 Goku has just risen in the rankings of my favourite Figuarts thanks to this!

Dragonball evolution...was just plain garbage, but do watch it because you wont understand how much they screwed it up till u see it , also anyone here keep up the the dragonball multiverse manga? I recently discovered it 3days ago n read all the chapters till day an its pretty crazy

Aw right man! Now do you still group him on the same level as Tien and Yamcha? Krillin, I put him in the same league with Piccolo and the other Saiyans. Although, once you get to Tien in Dragonball, you may change your mind from grouping him with Yamcha as well. Although, I understand why you said it from a DBZ perspective. I don't see them as major players anymore. They went different paths than the Z fighters. Krillin will always try to compete with Goku, even though he knows he'll never come close in power. Same with Goku. That's why I loved the Gt ending where Goku is so insanely powerful and wants to spar with an elderly Krillin.

The way I see it, Dragonball Evolution was made for small children that don't know anything about the manga/anime. I'm sure they enjoyed it quite a bit.

Battle of Gods, however, is for the rest of us
