I don't understand why they still show that prototype for representing the product when you buy it. I kept thinking people were getting defects, being that some people were saying there's looked better than others. I wanted to buy it if it looked like the pics, so I spent about 15 minutes everyday for a couple of weeks trying to find out what was the deal. I love how vibrant the boot coloring is!

It's the old "bait 'n switch" routine. Companies been practicing that for years; show off an excellent near-perfect prototype, release the actual "less-than-perfect" figure to the masses. Lets just be happy that it's mainly SS3 Goku that suffers from this problem and not the entire line, lol (although I'd say it's still debatable that really no figure from any company that's made available to the public will ever resemble it's top-notch prototype, it's just some figures are more noticeable than others, in my opinion)

Hey Crisis in regards to you asking about the Saiyan woman, according to twitter's @PharaoDopaz,in a new interview, Toriyama has said that the mother of Goku is Gine (ギネ). She's going to be in the bonus pages of the Ginga Patrol Jaco volume out in April. He also said if they make another Dragonball movie, it will focus mainly on Vegeta.

Hmm interesting. Got a link to that interview? That'd be pretty awesome if it's true.

I think they should just remake the Bardock Movie Special so it includes these key characters that are still unknown to us, such as Goku & Vegeta's mothers. Throw chibi Raditz in there, too. Even clarify the mythos of the Saiyan race by including flashback scenes of past Super Saiyans, King Vegeta's rise to power, the "original" Saiyan homeworld before they invaded Planet Plant, etc. A lot of potential there.

I actually really want to know about Broly's mother. I think it would be very interesting if his mother was Tuffle, being that he naturally was super intelligent, and the Tuffles were incredibly smart. It would have been interesting if he got revenge not only for his father and himself, but for the Tuffles. Maybe the Bardock that went back in time had children and Broy's mother was a descendent from them. Gohan was far stronger than his father, with his human DNA, and Goten moreso, being conceived after Goku achieved his SSJ form. Humans are an extremely weak race, so imagine the spawn of a far stronger race's DNA being mixed with Saiyan blood.

Im also curious about vegeta/ gokus mothers but in all honesty , they havent brought them up yet so it really doesnt matter if they do, not like they can contribute to the story much..they all jus got blown up anyway lol

The thing is we dont actually know if they all died; with characters like Tarble appearing (and canon, he was mentioned in battle of Gods) and Bardock surviving via time travel we really dont know who died and who survived.

They could quite easily make a movie where some turn of events leads them back to planet plant at the time Bardock is, this is dragonball, anything can happen! Lol

As it stands now Broly isnt canon so theres no point in it, although it would be an interesting turn of events that Goku and Broly turned out to be related via Bardocks time travel lol

I know it would never happen, but I would like Toriyama to go back and redo the movies so they merged with what happened in the series; a simple mention of Cell in Brolys movie and a change of clothes for Gohan would all but make it canon in my eyes. DB multiverse did a great job changing the movies about to fit with the series.

As for the whole human-saiyan thing, it is interesting how the potential multiplies as more human dna is added to the saiyan, makes you wonder how strong Videl would be if GT hadnt thrown that fact out the window. Also makes you realise how much potential Gohan, Goten and both Trunks (future too) wasted.

I love Yo Goku and His Friends Return! Even as domesticated and heroic Vegeta got, I loved how they're rivalry continued, especially using their sons for it! Even over good, I thought it was hilarious! I hope Funimation gives us a collection of all those specials. The original hour long Eradicate the Super Saiyans was much better than the short updated one in my opinion.

Anyway, while Goku & Vegeta's mothers aren't really relevant to the plot, they certainly expand on the overall Dragonball mythos. New material/characters is always welcome, and I'd love for them to finally reveal Goku's relatives as well as Vegeta's. Like I said, I wish there was a line in Yo Son Goku with Tarble saying "Father deemed me too weak to fight, but mother spared me and sent me off to a distant star." That alone would've intruiged many fans, since they at least acknowledge that Vegeta's mother actually existed.

I also wouldn't mind a special about the "Original Super Saiyan" (whether it was indeed Bardock or not, it's still debatable) and the Original Super Saiyan God. I just wanna learn more about the Saiyans, and perhaps reveal Frieza's species/homeworld in the process (as of now, I've always deemed Frieza/Cooler/Cold/Chilled's race as "Changelings" and nothing more). So many possibilities.

Going by how the other specials seem to be canon, id say Bardock was at least the ssj that started the legend Frieza was afraid of, whether he was the first we dont know. He ended up on planet plant though so the saiyans could possibly have existed elsewhere at the time.

I keep saying "I want", but honestly, would rather leave it up to interpretation. It makes it far more interesting and promotes much more discussion. That's why I keep going through the series, because I keep interpreting events and character motivations in completely different ways. Some things are much better as a mystery.

So i was jus sittin at home an saw dbz kai on tv... And it was the episode when all the z fighters fight android 17&18 and omg did they censor the crap out of the show for tv...2 things that really bugged me 1) when vegeta blows up the trucker on the road cuz 18 dodged him, the trucker yells" oh no my truck" after the explosion...like really? Even if kids are watchin it they arent stupid lol an im jus glad when i was growin up watchin this awesome show i didnt have dumb censorship like this.. And the 2nd thing is even more dumb, android 18 never kisses krillin!!!! They cut it out!!! Like wtf?!?!? Anyways i needed to get that outta my system lol but watchin that episode theres so many iconic poses u can make with the shf dbz characters we hav now when 18 comes out ..one pose im thinking of trying is havin 18 grabbin onto trunks leg and being in the motion of swingin him into vegeta lol

The UK only got the censored version, being Ocean dub and all, but tbh I dont think swearing, blood and gore really adds to the experience of watching a show like dbz; the fun is in the story for me.

Yeeeeah I don't really care for DBZ "Kai." Seen the entire saga over a decade ago; only stuff I follow DBZ-wise nowadays are the Figuarts line and the latest movie specials.
