(Also, Crisis, I wish we could have Brian Drommund in the Funi remastered dub. That'd be so ****in ultimate. Brian+faulconer is so epic.)

I know right? Maybe I can make a few ones myself, but the problem is that the ocean dub's score is very audibly present, it's really hard to mix out of the dub, sadly. And there's no release of the ocean VA with the japanese music, which is a lot easier to mix and drown out.

Brian is so ****in evil. Not just his scream, but that freakin laugh man, effin psychopath. Typically his laugh does remind me of Tom Cruise's a lot, which, in his younger days, imo would've been an awesome real life Vegeta.

Blood, I wasn't debating or anything, I just saw what blog ness wrote and was just excited to talk with someone about something I like, that not so many people on here do. Heck, I never get the humor of the memes you post or what they signifying, so give me something! Maybe that's why I got Vegeta on that personality test. I'm just kidding! I think, by now,a lot of us write in a certain way or make comments that you no don't even have to look at our user name to know who's talking!

Drummond screams are great. I'd be curious to see him up against Schemmel. I watched the Ocean dub twice and couldn't get into it. My problem was he always sounded like he was going to start hissing, because his voice sounded like a lizard.

That's exactly what I like about it. Vegeta, especially in his evil days, is a sharp-minded, psychopathic mofo. The way he gently holds Nappa's hand before he blows him up, that's not blunt, that's not crude, that's really specific, sharp behaviour. That's why I think Brian's sharper voice suits him perfectly. And the fact that he can scream like an absolute beast, tied with Schemmel as the best one of all dubs imo, makes him even more brutal. Comes out of nowhere. Other than that I don't really like the Ocean dub much except nostalgia and it's kinda logical newer fans wouldn't feel anything for it.

Drummond as Vegeta is pretty much the only English dubbed character I enjoy. He definitely has the psychopath vibe that Vegeta really embodied during the saiyan and namek sagas. That laugh.

Thank you for the explanation. I appreciate it. It definitely fits his "Pure evil" line in the Android saga where he turns SSJ for the first time!

He just sounds like he has that silly sterotypical villain voice to me. It reminds me of Kevin from the South Park PSP episode:


I love his screams though! They're scary how angry he sounds! He just unleashes his fury and it sounds so genuine!

I think Vegeta should be stereotypical, because I find him, in fact, archetypical. I like Sabat too and he has som great genuine acting t times, I especially like him as vegeta ndroid saga onward, but Brian-Vegeta is walkng carnage. He makes me realise WHY it's a cliche, if you get my drift? It's OG evil. Bu because it's so evil he doesn't really sell the moments where he's softening up, so. Honestly I almost wish they could be fused into one.

Yeah I gotcha! That's my problem, because I don't see any room for this guy to soften up at all. He is pure evil. He was evil in those first two arcs, and everything you're saying he does embody. And as Goku's rivalry, it makes sense, being that Goku is just pure joy. Maybe if I liked the rest of the cast, I wouldn't have a problem, since I enjoyed that clip video you showed. He does sound like Tom Cruise! When you put him up against Surfer Goku or Australian Zarbon, it probably threw it off a lot more for me!

oh i'll replace teen gohan with adult gohan though and trunks is totally content with it like in the "what if" of the games

I got my Krillin in the mail yesterday, forgot about that. I hope Goku comes with the same coloring on his gi. It's much better than my previously favorite shades of orange/blue on SDCC Goku. The goofy smile face is great for funny pics too. I'll take some later. All I need now is one of those creepy Woody figures. Heh heh..
