Guys i have a question. For my dioramas should i do 1 for each saga? (saiyan, namek, cell,buu) and have them in order? or skip the buu diorama and make a namek diorama thats bigger and not in order.

speaking of which do you guys think we'll eventually see Super Saiyan God Gogeta in Super? Whis kinda hints towards that when he was saying if they were to work together, they would be near unstoppable

I wouldn't be surprised if they brought back Vegeto. I know potara fusion is supposed to be permanent (so much for that) and the earring(s) were destroyed but has continuity stopped Toriyama before? Plus, Kibito Kai is wearing a pair and so is Old Kai.

My provider says I should be receiving Ultimate Gohan on the first week of October .
About Figuarts for DBS, I think they can make the Z fighters to be honest. One would think that since the series is old, maybe giving importance to them is not priority. But now that the Z fighters are appearing again in this new series, won't be a bad idea to make Tien, Yamcha and maybe Powered up Roshi.

I don't think it's impossible. I could definitely see that, it would be pretty sweet. I just wonder how Toriyama would design him though. Toei's Gogeta is pretty much exactly what I suspect Gogeta would look like since it's basically the same as Gotenks only with different colors. The "official" design should look pretty similar, if not look exactly like it but perhaps with different colors.

Actually Gogeta IS Toriyama's design. And Gogeta was meant to bein the buu saga. But because toi released a movie with gogeta before gogeta appeared in the show, T felt it ruined the surprise and made up vegito and the potara rings. That's why vegito's seperation inside buu is so convoluted, it was supposed to be gogeta seperating naturally, but T had to quickly think of something. The buu era was written under a lot of pressure and time comstraint.

So yeah, since I read that I do consider Gogeta cnon. He just never appeared. THAT SAID if they fused now it'd be as gods, so don't know how that impacts it. But imo gogeta is as legit asgotenks, it is toriyamas design and was meant for the series.

@fat if they fuse, which I don't think they ever will, it'll deffo be a new gogeta ssjg style. Don't think toriyama would pass up the chance to right that wrong. Vegetto was never meant to be, he was a contingent solution.

As for Vegito, that was a one time deal. He won't bring him back. I know he sucks with continuity but I don't think he sucks THAT bad.

if it happens then it will prolly happen after the events of RoF. SSG Gogeta would def be able to take on Beerus, perhaps even defeat him. especially after receiving speed training from Whis. as for Beerus, yeah now he is kinda a ****, whereas before he was just arrogant but still likeable. i foresee Champa or another God taking out Beerus tho, & Goku/Vegeta having to aid him. i got this idea in my head how the other Gods of Destruction view Beerus as having grown weak since he willingly spared Earth, thus wanting to retire him from his position. dun dun dunnn~

i also got this hunch that Toriyama is very proud of himself for creating Beerus. you know how you do something, or set something up all by yourself, & you look at it & say "yeah i alone did that, i'm a badass." that's how Akira feels too lol


also i like this [unofficial] design for adult Gotenks. i can't think of any other way he would look like otherwise

Typical toriyama BS. The whole reason old Kai told them to use potara was because it would create a stronger fusion than the dance. As usual the fans know more than he does.

Exactly. Potara takes the characters at their individual best. The dance forces the stronger character to match the weaker character and creates the fusion from there. That's why the hypothetical Gokan (Goku/Gohan) would've been nearly the same strength either way.

this is how I tend to visualize the fusion forms.

Gogeta, a temporary chaotic blend that's still effective and Vegetto, a perfect (supposedly permanent) blend.

The thing is, what figures can they make from DBS? So far DBS is covering the movies and Tamashii's already got all they can from that except for Whis and SSG Goku. The other side characters in their new outfits wouldn't really make for great figures especially since most of them don't even fight anymore.

I wouldn't worry too much about DBS taking slots over older stuff, at least not yet. The show isn't at the point where there's new characters being introduced and it probably won't be for a few months seeing as they're just at the middle of BoG.

New member here, I just got into SHFiguarts about 4 months ago. I have been browsing this thread for a while, finally decided to post. I don't collect any other figures except for these because I made a "mistake" and bought Broly and here I am now haha.

I think gogeta and vegetto have the same strength. They are the same guys, only different method, but to me is the same. That also make all the discussion more easy and not cause problem between people
