Re: S.H.Figuarts IronMan

They are also by Bandai/Tamashii Nations, which is a Japanese company. This means you will need to import them/buy them online. There are plenty of online shops to buy these figures. AmiAmi, HLJ, HobbySearch and are useful for pre-ordering. However, Mandrake (https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/) will be better for figures that are already out. If you stalk the site you will usually get some great deals. Note: Some figures are exclusives. In other words you need to seek the help of a middleman. For this reason, the prices will be much higher.

My option on these figures? Worth it. They are incredibly detailed and highly articulated. Probably the best of the best in the 1/12th scale. However, some characters won't get made unless Bandai gets their licence.

Don't forget that they also have random licenses. Michael Jackson, Bruce Lee and the upcoming Freddie Mercury.

What kind of site is that and do they ship to the US?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandarake

Its basically a massive online store that, for example, sells opened and new/unopened toys. Its great for Figuarts. I've heard that opened items are still in great shape. The staff checks the quality of the item extensively before putting it up on their stores. The prices will vary since it may depend on the popularity/demand/rarity etc. of the item. And yes, it can ship internationally, including the US.

But the item you chose are from their retail shelves, which means the item you ordered might be sold with these 3 days. It's worth a gamble as people keeps bringing stuffs to sell at Mandarake and another might pop up pretty quickly.

Re: S.H.Figuarts IronMan

Ended up finding a War Machine Mark 1 for $100 USD so that's another one down... By the looks of it, War Machine, Cap, Thor, and Iron Man Mark 45 will all arrive the week of my birthday. :yess:

So how long does it usually take for a figuart to go up for pre-order after being unveiled, like the Black Widow or Hawkeye? And the time between pre-order and release isn't a year like Hot Toys right?

I'm finding it really hard to make an account. I have to translate it to English and I don't know what some of the things for address are.

Sorry. I forgot to link to the english website.

These are from the Tamashii Nations 2015 Festival that just happened over the weekend. It is unknown when these prototypes go up for pre-order or if they'll actually get released. Think of it as a teaser of whats to come. Sometimes, sadly, a prototype will never get released. Figuarts go up for pre-order around 3-4 months before release. So no, they aren't a yearly thing. Also, be prepared to stalk the websites I listed. Pre-orders can get sold out within seconds. Sometimes the entire website crashes (See the Tiger and Bunny incidents).

This worries me lol. I'm assuming this rarely happens though. I wouldn't mind if the Black Widow got delayed though, I'm not really liking it and will just get it for completion's sake, but if they can improve Black Widow, I don't mind waiting longer. Thanks for the info!

Re: S.H.Figuarts IronMan

If anyone's still looking for a Mark 1 War Machine, here's where I got it for $100:

Bandai S.H. Figuarts War Machine. Warehouse Found. - S.H.Figuarts

Don't know how many they have left, but I just got the notice that mine has shipped. Everywhere else it's sold out and I see it on eBay for a lot more

Couldn't help myself I have the WM MK II. Have to get the MK I. Stupid question is there an IM MK II version out there?

Thanks.
