Re: S.H.Figuarts IronMan

I just got my SHF Hulkbuster and it is sweet! I love it! I only have to sink $350 for it! Will take some pix later...

I can't believe it is actually here! It feels like a dream, still. But, man, it is heavy!

Re: S.H.Figuarts IronMan

Can we expect anything at Toy Fair?

I was hoping to see something too - but as someone else said in the SW section, probably not. These are not marketed here in the U.S.

Also I checked figures.com in the Bandai section for last years Toy Fair images, and no figuarts images there. So I would not expect any previews unfortunately :gah:

Bummer. :gah:

Do we know when's the next Asian show where Bandai might be showing stuff off?

Re: S.H.Figuarts IronMan

So does anyone know what is the general price for these when they first come out? Not the bigger ones like Hulk or Hulkbuster but in general? I'm searching online for the older figures and obviously the older they are the more expensive they are, but does anyone have a rough idea of how much the Black Panther and Ant-Man will end up being when they come out?

Somewhere between £40 and £50, with shipping, is my guess.

I'm just getting into this line, but I have a friend that has been collecting Bandai stuff for a while now. He emailed me a link for the new Capt CW and it was $45 pre-order on their site (Hobby Link Japan). You factor in about $10 for shipping if you are in the U.S.

So imho a decent retail price for these is around $55 and that is how much I am trying to spend getting last years Marvel and SW figures.
Of course lower price is always better (saw AoU Thor for $40!!!)

Didn't get to turn on the light yet...just a quick snap...

Re: S.H.Figuarts IronMan

This one is very posable. Probably going to have the most articulation out of all.

Re: S.H.Figuarts IronMan

Can Figuarts make classic renditions of the avengers? Wish they could make a comic version of daredevil or cap

Since their primary audience is Japan, I imagine they'll mostly stick to characters people recognize from the movies, even if by some slim chance they do have a license for comic characters. Come to think of it I don't know how many of the high end foreign studios do non-movie or TV Marvel characters.

I don't think they have the comic license.

I thought when they got the license that means they can do their versions of comics and tv, I guess I'll have to wait for DD to come in the movies then. Thanks.

Re: S.H.Figuarts IronMan

Nope. That's not the way it works. Every film has its own license. So they have to get a license for every film. Iron man 1 is a different license then iron man 2. Different then avengers. Avengers age of ultron is different then Avengers 1. Ect

Then the comic versions have different licenses. And not al the comic stuff is one license either. (Xmen is its own, FF is its own, spiderman is his own). Each tv show is its own license. And sometimes each season. And even if they have every license they still have to get approval for each product from marvel/DC/WB/Disney/fox or whom ever owns the license. It's very very very complicated stuff. Lol
