Awesome pics guyver1!!!
You definitely captured the fine detail and great action poses!

I tried to take a few but had a little trouble posing and catching the detail...here are a couple.
I also got in the Figma Hulk and added him to my Avengers...can never get enough of the big 4!!!

Now I need to send them on a mission to break the other Avengers outta their cardboard prisons!

Looks fantastic Mark :hi5:

I have to admit for a barebones figure with basic paint schemes this is really uniquely made

Just received my Mark 3 from HLJ and as soon as I opened it and started playing around with it I noticed I couldn't get the right foot to pivot inwards. Figured it might just need some flexing to loosen it up but I when I peeked under the leg armor covering the ankle, I discovered it's actually a left foot that was attached in there. That's why it wouldn't pivot inwards! Took a pic of the feet, put it back in the box and contacted HLJ about it and hope I get a replacement or refund. Sigh.

Has anyone here had any experience returning items to HLJ?

I got a damaged figure from HLJ once. They were really good about it and refunded me. Best customer service of all the toy retailers I've experienced online. You should be fine.

These are going to be used to digitally sculpt the 3d spell effects pieces, for the upcoming SHF strange. I know they'll probably include these, but I'm kind bored... And I could always use with my kaecilius once he gets made (no idea if he uses spells like this in the film though). Once I see the movie I'll probably make other ones, as well as those glass shard looking sword things from the promo art

Nope but I think it's a respected company shouldn't be a problem for them to replace it for you.

Yea I've dealt with their support before and they've always been very nice. I just have never sent anything back to them before and unsure what the process is like. They did respond to me last night and said they will replace my figure with free shipping. They'll even reimburse my shipping expense.

I somehow lost a litttle piece that goes in the middle of the Mark 3's back. I didn't realize it was a separate piece until it was gone. Something to watch out for.

Just saw Dr Stran last night and...Kaecilius was a little underwhelming i have to say

Moved from Mudbox to Zbrush so i thought i'd post these pieces that are being designed for SHF-style production (coloured faces and all)

Nice work; I use ZBrush myself along with Rhino when I need more precise, mechanical parts. Haven't been on it for a while, though...doing other types of work lately.

I agree about Kaecilius. Marvel Villain Syndrome.

Hey, does anyone know if Figuarts will be doing anything from the upcoming Thor movie? I don't feel like we've gotten a definitive Thor from them yet and I don't care much for their Hulk.

I got my first Mafex figure today, the Mark 45. Its pretty dissapointing, and I definitely won't be getting another of these. The first thing you notice once you get him out of the package, is that he is extremely light, cheap and plasticky feeling. It just has a very low quality feel to it. The joints are all extremely loose and he cannot hold about any pose without a stand to support him. I bought him because I liked the sculpt and the unmasked head. But in person it is apparent that his arms are too short (whose hands don't reach their crotch?), and the unmasked head looks like he has a black eye. The paint is no where near as good as Figuarts. He's too tall to fit in with Figuarts, but would work well with Marvel Legends. The worst part is that this guy costs almost double what a Figuarts does, definitely not worth the money. I do like that the helmet looks like an actual adults head could fit inside, unlike Figuarts.

We definitely could use an updated Hulk and Thor using their new lifelike headsculpts. The original's head sculpts all look like anime cartoon versions of the characters.

Excluding the proportions of the body I think the sculpt and the details of the armour is actually more accurate to the film. The paint might even be too, but I might not be remembering the colour right. I particularly like the silver mechanical details on the hips

You are correct, which is exactly what prompted me to buy it. In hand the red paint, while a more accurate color, does not look very good. The arms are driving me nuts though the more I look at it. They are actually shorter than the Figuarts arms, even though it stands almost an inch taller.

Oh man, sorry to hear that.

I think I know how the figure must feel. My Mafex C-3PO feels crazy light. And also falls apart if I look at it too long haha.

It's really hard to beat Figuarts' quality, even if I have to get over some proportions sometimes.
