It looks moulded in that colour, let's hope that it's an unpainted sample that somehow, impossibly, got sold to a customer. It really does look like the Marvel legends one, it just proves what a difference paint can make.

Holy cow, is that for real? I guess the Vac-Metal is giving people trouble? That's just bad... and after their perfect Hulk!

I got my first Mafex figure today, the Mark 45. Its pretty dissapointing, and I definitely won't be getting another of these. The first thing you notice once you get him out of the package, is that he is extremely light, cheap and plasticky feeling. It just has a very low quality feel to it. The joints are all extremely loose and he cannot hold about any pose without a stand to support him. I bought him because I liked the sculpt and the unmasked head. But in person it is apparent that his arms are too short (whose hands don't reach their crotch?), and the unmasked head looks like he has a black eye. The paint is no where near as good as Figuarts. He's too tall to fit in with Figuarts, but would work well with Marvel Legends. The worst part is that this guy costs almost double what a Figuarts does, definitely not worth the money. I do like that the helmet looks like an actual adults head could fit inside, unlike Figuarts.

Hey, did you watch the review by d amazing on YouTube? I saw it last night and he mentions the instructions and how the forearms can pull out. Before he does it they look exactly like your pics, after he does it it looks so much better. The figure also has a...Let's say, interesting, method of achieving torso articulation.

The loose joints though...

$55 USD...going to try and get him on the Asian sites.

Undoubtedly they'll mark him up to $100 around here.

Just heard from Alex of Ageless Geeks that he got confirmation for a US release of the Doctor Strange! So probably like Deadshot, the Web exclusive in Japan, followed by a normal US release. Woo! Wonder if all of the MCU stuff will start going like this. It's definitely better than paying exclusive prices!
