Bluefin has already teased the possibility of Zedd. These figuarts may have started as a Japanese thing, but they're becoming big enough in the US for US exclusive things to be able to stand on their own, especially when we're talking about anything MMPR related. The Dragonball figuarts line wouldn't even still exist if not for the US. After the initial three releases it was dead in the water until the US demand revived it.

Looks awesome. Im curious as to the body yellow will have. We all know in the Sentai Yellow was a guy (Called Guy...) but in the US footage they did have a female in the Yellow suit. So im wondering if the boobage and hips will be present or not. Im thinking they will just use a male body so they can just double it as a Zyuranger figure when they sell to JP.

Well Goldar did win a villain poll, so I'd say chances are very good. I'd be shocked if we didn't get at least one villain from MMPR.

I think it's more than likely that Yellow will be released as a female in the US and male in Japan. The female body will already exist from Pink, so it's a simple repaint.

I have said this on RB and I will say this again... You really can hardly tell from the Sentai Footage and American footage when it comes to Trini as the yellow Ranger...

Now if it were the SH Figurarts based on The Movie... It would be a much bigger deal...

the yellow rangers name was Boi not Guy... and no you couldnt really tell if the yellow ranger was a male or female in the series cept for the talking and when she unmasked herself and the yellow sabertooth tiger with a dress? get out of here with that crap. besides the rangers have pecks on the figures (which is makes them look female anyways) you can imagine the ones on yellow as breasts.

I'd expect the American one to have a reprinted pink body, and the Japanese one to be the standard male ranger body.

Thuy in the suit is pretty flat and slim but in season 2, even before Aisha took over the suit got more busty and booty. And its not even just that it will be the figures height too. If Yellow towers over pink it will be awkward

Women have breasts, hips and are not as tall as men. You are happy to have the figure to be on the mens body with pecks as breasts, be as tall and have no hips. Why? We know in the sentai the yellow was a dude, but this is a figure a MMPR figure where for 3 years it was a woman and for nearly 2 of thoes years it was a short, big bootied and chested african female. We are not con fined by sentai footage for making toys. I dont want a yellow man ranger figure.

Yeah even if one were to ignore the difference between the male and female body types, the height is something that would stand out like a sore thumb.

As I said before, it's LITERALY a non-issue.

Use the Pink ranger body ( minus the skirt) for the American release, and the male for the japanese, and same head for both. Everyone wins.

if that's a Problem, then They make Female Yellow a SDCC exclusive next year.

Much like Dragon Ball, It's been said that MMPR getting a full line has EVERYTHING to do with the Following that MMPR, NOT Zyuranger has in the states. YES, i get that in Zyuranger, Yellow was male. in MMPR Yellow is female. Why wouldn't the toys reflect that... when they have ALREADY been reflecting that for years.

Derringer... if you're out there, would you care to weigh in on this if you can?

i don't think they're as slim as you're making them.

Lets not forget the ENTIRE dragon ball line is made JUST for america.

I'd say the odds of getting Yellow on a female body are pretty good.
