How are you able to tell?

I bought mine from a japanese seller.

If it came in a box it should be fine. If it didn't (loose) then it is either a reject or stolen.

My Kylo and some troopers arrived today! They were sent on 24th Dec via SAL, that's impressive delivery time. No customs charge either, bonus!

I've only opened Kylo so far, he's even better than the pictures suggest!

I work for a big shipping firm, guess you got them so quick because the freight volume is low so stuff that normally travels slow gets put with the fast stuff to fill up the planes. Hope I have the same luck with customs charges. Nippon Yasan are not sending my Luke til the 4th Jan at the earliest (guess they'll be a backlog to send out because they've been closed ) and Maul from eBay which I ordered Tuesday.

Who actually delivers these Sal packages, Royal Mail?
Do you have to pay the charge at the door or do they give/send you a bill?

Parcelforce. You have to pay online before they will deliver it.

Unlucky. I'm OK with paying the tax but the handling fee is usually obscene and often more than the cost of the tax (depending on how many items you ordered obviously).

No news yet, but likely she will be the next reveal with Finn and Han if they keep doing force awakens stuff. I guess that since she will undoubtly come with the lightsaber (for reasons I wont get into incase spoilers) that it would be spoilery to reveal her with it before the films release.

Are they stylized or do they try nailing the likeness of the actors?

Tamashii always go for proper likeness, be it good or bad (Vader).

Take a look at the Avengers and Luke to see just how good they can get with real actors likeness.

Tamashii is a premium figure brand so there won't be any Black Series like faces going around. Just looking at how Luke turned out and how the upcoming characters are looking, they'll most likely turn out really well. They've also got a new type of face technology they've been using so I've no doubt Tamashii will make the real faces look amazing.

I think it depends on the property in question... With the Avengers the likeness is there but I don't think it is spot on; Cap looks like a mix of Chris Evans with the classic Cap same with Stark as hes RDJ but just slightly off if you get my meaning.

With SW though every figure I have seen with a human face looks spot on... though both this opinion and the one with the Marvel characters are just my opinion based on my eyes.

I can't wait for the rey figure, we won't have a proper head scan for Daisy Ridley till figuarts releases her.

This is exactly it, they both look like Cap but only the unmasked one looks anything like Evans and tbh they don't look like they are the same person to me though that could be down to the angle of the head.

It's probably the prototype. Just look at how Black Widow looks [emoji33]

The final faces will probably look WAY better. For Star Wars they'll definitely make sure they're spot on. They realize how much money it can make, so they won't cheap out for this license.
