I suppose they did, but, now I have my own money, they can't control what I spend it on. Still, I was always pretty discerning anyway and I was never all that happy with the Star Wars figures as they were in those days. The Figuarts are finally the Star Wars figures I always wanted, they do the poses I remember wanting to do before but couldn't.
I steered away from all the Kenner Star Wars figures. Even as a kid, I thought they looked like ****.

Thats true. If they mark it down as a gift, then theres less chance of it being flagged so to speak, as is marking the items value down, since in the uk at least, the value of a gift can reach £20ish before customs can grab it. The problem being that most sellers, on ebay especially, would rather overvalue the item incase it is lost in transit, which is why ebay usually results in a charge for folks in the uk.

Nippon Yasan is one company who will happily do both "tweaks" if you ask them to. They are a little more expensive, but I have yet to be hit with a charge after buying over a dozen figures from them, oh, and their £13 shipping is excellent for getting an item within the week.

Yeah, I tend to stick with eBay as I always get the service I want and I feel pretty secure with them. I tend not to feel comfortable leaving my details on some web store where you don't know how secure things are. It's a case of finding your feet, I'm testing the water and seeing which sellers I know I can get good deals from. Kombini and the folks I got Maul from fit the bill so far and I'll try and deal with them as much as I can.

Heh, yeah, I remember the old GI-Joe style ones from before I was born. then there was the muscle-bound sculpts from the 90s, brings back memories.

Never been a G.I. Joe fan...vintage joe figures looked awful too. I generally boycott American figures (except Neca) due to the subpar sculpts and paintjobs. Neca is the only exception because they at least spent the time to make their figures look premium.

No problem, I know several places to post legal claims against internet discrimination.
Congratulations.

They never looked like the pics on the header card that's for sure, mind you, in certain respects that hasn't really changed.

If you can't be civil toward each other, I'm looking at you Big Deano & Kunanuk, then stop responding to each other or place each other on ignore.

First and only warning.
Just an update.
Deano said he has already put kunanuk on ignore and people are still telling deano to shut up.

Speaking of perfect, just got my Maul and Obi in, and unfortunately Obi has a few defects. His left foot comes off very easy, his elbow pops off easy, and his eyes are kind of out of alignment. Not great. Looks like he is looking to the right slightly.

So, Bandai is shipping 50$ S.H. Figuarts with production defects? Wow, I can't believe!

What? S.H. Figuarts quality is getting a downgrade on one of the most anticipated figures? Are you kidding?
OMG!!!

Hey guys, let's just skip the few cancer posts. Sure we can argue some more here but lets take a moment and realize if we do, it's either gonna be another waste of a page arguing ones opinion. He just wants to add fuel to the fire.

I'd like to thank the folks here just skipping his posts and be on track with what matters. Mutha trucking SHF figures.

I seriously need an r2, Ive been thinking trading in 2 of my SHF CW Cap for 2 revoltech R2s. The model kits are fine Im just too lazy to build it. Mafex - well then I have to pay for the C3PO and its a set. Darn.

I don't care what the beef is between Freaks. STOP.

Stick to the topic of the thread and if you have a problem with someone then put them on ignore.

Next time I get a reported post and have to come in here I will infract someone.

Thread cleaned.

Just drop it, man. You gonna get infractions and stuff.

Yeah I know, I will be the evil guy then. But Big Deano will keep being a member who can acuse anyone whenever he wants.
At this point, I really don't care.

This. Youre just asking people to flip their tables, you know youre in the SHF thread? Just move on and ignore Big Deano. I know hes gonna do the same, just stop it with the blaming.

Dont try and reply, I dont wanna waste another post in this thread with somehing unrelated to what matters.

Please dont tell me all those posts are directed at me? Got him blocked and gave up hours ago.

Anyway, anyone got ANH Luke in yet? Or has anyone found a review of him? Gonna be next weeks review for me if he gets here quickly enough!
