I'm pretty sure those are custom of Bandai kits.

I'm pretty much certain most of those clones are customs, and amazing ones at that, but the galactic marines only share the arms with clone troopers, every other part is new including the feet, which, if they were custom, would even need a custom formed foot holder for the base. I doubt a customiser would go to all that effort for just the base, which gives me hope.

So its a known fact that mace has "pull out shoulders", but where exactly is this joint located? I ask as BOTH of my maces shoulders fall out - not the ball part, but the little socket the ball sits in, which is held into the body with 2 pegs, one angled 90 degrees from the other, making it really hard to put them in. Ive tried glueing them in with mixed success (its holding, but BARELY. and i really mean barely.), but now it seems as though the part that holds the socket piece is coming out....so frustrating.

Any advice?

Crappy photo, but it gives you a sense of scale...

Personally, I think Boba looks great, but Bandai's model kit and Revoltech have the Mafex beat in a few articulation areas. For example, Mafex has a 90 degree elbow bend and the shoulder armor restricts range of motion.

I screwed up my shipping this week. I had Boba ship from HLJ on Monday. Now, I just got a payment received email from them for the Clone and Figma Miyo Asato. I completely forgot they were coming up. On top of that, I heard Revoltech Deadpool is shipping. My preorder is with CDJapan, but I haven't gotten any word yet.

He looks huge, or is Jango just small!? What is Boba like next to Mace or Obi Wan!?

Does he!? I'm not entirely sure on that one. He doesn't look to have the same shoulders as Obi Wan and I couldn't get them to pull out anywhere. Maybe someone else will know. I've got my Mace just the way I want him and don't particularly want to break an arm right now.

Pulled a couple comparison pictures from the Fwoosh forums of the Mafex Boba. Here he is next to Figuarts Jango and other import Boba's:

Clear lead to mafex boba.....I have black series and awaiting the mafex one this week.....but would like to see BS comparison.

Battledroid is AWESOME. The weathering is even nicer than the regular droid. 3PO's head is beautiful and has a nice solid feel to it, unlike the Mafex version.

Still can't tell from those pics if the Figuarts Jango is too small or the Mafex Boba slightly too big. Need to see him next to another human or at least the Mafex Vader.

He actually seems taller than the model kit there, and I can tell from experience that model kit Boba is just a bit too tall, hence why I always have him in a flight pose to counter it :p The mafex seems way too tall judging from that pic.

Yes but have you seen how all their feet are at different heights? But I agree that boba could be a bit tall because he want tall in the films....

"known fact"..? No he does not have telescoping shoulders

MAFEX figures are bigger and taller overall. They won't scale with SHF.

The height difference between Boba and Jango are miniscule IMO. It doesn't help that Jango has no neck, needs a neck mod stat.

Really? In several reviews I've seen they show his arms short of pulling out to sit further out from the body to make him look a bit bigger i guess, on mine he was able to do that as well (might not be pull out joints though, just a combination of other things)

I know, I said this previously, but let me deepen; IMO, SHF works much better as a separate line, aside of the rest of 1/12. I think SHF deserves its own focus. Every SHF figure is a little piece of art and high engineering.
Even the non-chromed, undersized Phasma is awesome itself. Also, SHF has a very peculiar scale and proportions, and a very defined idiosyncrasy.
On the other hand, I consider that The Black Series, Bandai and Mafex work really well together. Where one of them lacks, the other adds. The can be mixed much more easily, all them are in very equal scales and proportions.
Hey, this is just my opinion. Please don't consider this as an offense to someone and his collecting habits.
Peace.
