Been very impressed by the Power Rangers Figuarts and since there's no way I can afford to get into Hot Toys Star Wars (and have had enough Hasbro's dropping standards) these seem like a good compromise.

They are certainly filling a gap in the market. I can't get enough of them.

Anyone else like the Black Series Kylo Ren more so than the Figuarts?

The only thing I like about TBS Kylo is the fabric hood and price, everything else is ok. I'm curious to see how SHF handles the head and neck articulation for Kylo since the hood looks molded.

None of this restriction talk makes sense in regard to SH Figuarts or Bandai sales within the U.S. Diamond was just recently given exclusive rites to distribute them within the U.S.

Thats bandai america, seperate from bandai japan, they do those ****** toys already in toys r us, all that deal mean is comic shops can get them

And the reason bluefin cant import is because hasbro has the rights to star wars figures for north america

LOL..same. SHF is great. It's not three times retail great. :lecture

Do you even figuarts dragonball :lol

They are going for more than 10x for the sdcc SS goku figure now.

I think once you go deeper into the line, the completist nature of the hobby will get the best out of you.

Yeah, but Dragon Ball Hot Toys don't exist. If they did you wouldn't see collectors playing ball with scalpers the way they are. Besides, the DBZ SHF situation is a completely self imposed artificial shortage. Tamashii could lift the restriction on web exclusive rereleases anytime they want.

True. I'm just saying that there's figuarts figure that goes 10x retail price.

Doubt HT could get the sculpt right for the anime characters though, that's always been their weak point.

Ban dai and other Japanese companies that make and carry SW models are getting told by Disney to sell in Japan ONLY.
Don't know if this Diamond deal will change any of that but there could be a massive shortage on these things. Koto and other lines.

Lucky they sold stormtroopers first. They know how much they could sell offline.

All that will happen is we have less to spend on Hasbro...

I'm on a major high this morning.!

I have been seeing pictures of this Luke on Instagram and I've been impressed by every one I've seen. What a good figure.

This morning I was scrolling through Instagram and seen the pre order pictures for TPM Obi wan. I am absolutely ecstatic! Obi wan episode 1 is my favourite Star Wars character. Episode 1 took over my life as a kid. Obi wan is pretty much the image of my childhood. :lol so to see him getting a really good quality figure is great!

These look like incredible Figures. I think this is where I am going to build a bit of Star Wars collection as I just can't afford every character I'd like at 1:6. I'm getting maul and jedi luke and hopefully they make Qui Gon!!!

I'm a sheet metal worker for a living so I'm currently drawing up plans for a real metal duel of the dates diorama to go with these :rock

But what does this have to do specifically with SH Figuarts? Are you saying that they are affected by this as well?
