Wow, I don't even care about Kylo's hood, he looks amazing there. Thanks for posting.

Those pictures look great! I might just focus on SH Figuarts for Star Wars, even if it's slim pickings. I can't afford these,Hot Toys and some Hasbro stuff.

all looking great!

Still over the moon that they're making episode 1 Obi, my favourite Star Wars character!!

@Hyd I see.:lol dunno much about 1/6 scale companies.

The threat of possibly these being blocked in vendor sales to non-japan residing people really curbs my enthousiam.

Yeah, I read about that too. Hopefully these can continue to be sold to the U.S. I'm ultra pissed though that the Bandai model kits are for sure not able to be sold to U.S. customers, I have the Vader, R2 and Stormtrooper ones (which are all excellent) and I was really looking forward to the Boba Fett one.

I know I really hate when a company does something like that, shows just how much faith they have in their own product... Then again even with Bandai US you see a marked drop in quality compared to Bandai Japan, have a few friends who collect Super Sentai as well as Power Rangers and with the general toys theres no comparison and they are meant to be appealing to the exact same target markets (kids mainly unlike the Legacy line which I have some of).

At this point anyone got a recommended seller for a Luke figure (Ebay / Amazon sellers or other online retailers)?

eeeh, needs more chrome.

Lol I thought you were gonna say needs more Nappa:lol

@mynameschris ebay seller I bought it from like a week ago or so has sold out and I was already far too late with all my normal addresses for these, sorry.:(

That hood on SHF Kylo really is a shame. I mean, especially because it is molded it should be possible to get it into the right shape.

BS Vader cape is surprisingly good, it even has weight at the bottom so it drapes better and the quality of the fabric isn't too shabby for the price, BS Vader is definitely one of the select few that aren't complete Hasbro garbage, it's really uncommon of them to put that much work into stuff.

But yeah, that BS cape looks better on mostly all Vaders other than BS :lol

Personally I would buy better fabric and do my own, I have a couple Vader Model kits on my HLJ warehouse and I'm planning on doing that, BS cape is nice but I can do better.

:impatient:

Kenobi looks fanta err i mean PHASMAtastic in those new shots too.

@Gasper wow you really went the whole way, interesting! Thanks mate. That looks better than I expected. Did you have to break stuff to get the plastic skirt off and the cloth in? Still that freakin size though. Inbetween now and posting my q I watched another vader review but, I think the scale issue lowers the quality/price ratio too much for me.

Use the Black Series Vader cape....

oh wait......

If you're apparently responding to me after all, I actually considered that at first because who wouldn't? But the combined price of this vader and black series vader is too much for me for the result. But I was/am still curious to see if and how people have modded shf Vader.

Such a shame cause I think SHF has nailed the sculpt the most of everything I've seen in this scale... (Which is 5 I think...) Sadly scaling issues are one of SHF's largest issues I'd say, definitely coming off the DBZ line. And not just big ones being too small. We could get a yoda or others that are too big as well.

@Vortex dat Han face sculpt is so good. At least from that angle.

There is a Walgreens exclusive Black Series Vader coming out, you might be able to find it at retail for $20 for the cape.

Well.... that Han and Luke blow Black Series out of the water. That is Figuarts, right? Those are definitely worth the extra $15 to $20 if I can PO them before they sell out. Wonder if they would be in scale with BS Chewbacca....

Just pre-ordered Episode I Obi-Wan Kenobi on big bad toy store. I trust them alot more than trying to go through another site, even though I had to pay more. Can't wait to get him!

@ WWEJedi I don't think I'll have access to that exclusive (for that price) as I'm from europe and there's no walmarts (EDIT: walgreen:lol) here to my knowledge, but I appreciate the tip nonetheless!

Yeah I had BS Han though and I was actually fine with everything except his head, but that Han face sculpt is better than hot toys and anything sideshow I've seen. The Luke is great too overall although I think on this picture his likeness is lesser than SHF Jedi Luke.

I had BS Chewbacca too... I wouldn't say it's impossible to be in scale with that SHF Han, because SHF Luke seems as tall as BS Luke I think, but as I said SHF can be unpredictable with scale accuracies, for all we know Han might turn out a little short (you can actually sorta already see that's a possibility on the picture now that I look at it, Han and Luke are awfully close in height or Luke could suddenly be too tall). Then again, chewie is just always massive... And BS Vader works with SHF Luke scalewise too imo. So min=or indications would make me say yes, but I'd still temper enthusiasm just in case. For example with DBZ we got a MASSIVE Broly and then the figure afterward was underscaled. Not necessarily a stab at SHF, just saying, scale is one of their least reliable factors.
