S.H. Figuarts Star Wars

Yeah, that's the problem with the Hasbro figures is the plastics used and the paints, but as you showed with that pic, the sculpting and likenesses are there, it's just the cutting of corners that obscures the detail. But for only $20 a piece, I'm happy with what we get.

Like I said, I'm just happy we have so many options to choose from now, figma, revoltech, SH figuarts, the bandai model kits and the black series all make for some great variety.

Yeah that Rey repaint is incredibly good. My take on the black series is that there are several great ones: boba, sand trooper, han, x-wing Luke, even bossk and greedo...after that you have varying degrees of fail. I don't despise them but I'd prefer to spend my $ on SHF and end up with half, or less than half the # of figures cause personally I get more enjoyment from them. But BS or import it is the best time in history to be a starwars fan!

Both are the same figure, the one on the right is just repainted by a dude called Greg Sarabia, he's a customizer.

"four times the price"??? "$95 is not exaggerating."??? Please let me know what online retailer Hasblow fanboys shop at so I can avoid them. I paid $34US total for my figuarts Stormtrooper from HLJ. No where near 4X the price of a Hasblow Force Friday Happy Meal Black Series figure. The only thing Hasbro blows out of the water is themselves.

LOL. No **** they are not the same "quality" as Figuarts, remember those being four times the price..... they still look good though.

McFarlane figures, like the Walking Dead, to me, are not that great compared to the Black Series.

NECA I hate, especially that *** of an owner. There 3 3/4 figures are garbage that Hasbro blows out of the water. 6" Gears figures break easily. Never bought anything from that company since. 1/4 line looks great though.

Figuarts are definitely awesome! A couple of days ago I knew Luke existed but that was it. Now I'm buying him, maul & obi, maybe a couple of battle droids and considering the Death Star base for Luke!!

If some of you actually knew how to take the time to read a post the only figure I ever claimed I liked, as in MY OPINION, of being better than a figuart figure was BS Ren.... (now remember this is an opinion)

Only reason I don't collect them is because of the price (two in a half to four black series figures for one figuart), the knowledge of not knowing how deep the character line will go and the distributions issues/rumors that are being up in the air.

Even then, I am now trying to find the Battle Droids for cheap since I missed out on the pre orders....

Oh sweet! More importantly they still have the Battle Droids in stock!!! Very cool! Do they charge the card immediately? Or wait till the item is in stock? I might have to wait a few days if they charge immediately.... three 1/6th figures and three MP transformers charging this month as it is....

Eh, screw it, I got two battle droids That Obi-Wan Kenobi is incredible but without Qui-Gon he feels incomplete, plus he would make my other Black Series figures look bad Gonna have to wait/pass...

$75 for these still seem like a lot though..... but since Hasbro will probably never make these... had to pull the trigger on one of my top five 6" wants...

They do not charge immediately if you use a credit. They'll do a temp hold, but it'll fall off. CD Japan will officially charge once it's shipped
