Doesn't Maul's head look too small compared to Luke's? He's got kind of a pea head like Vader...

Looks fine to me tbh, if anything Luke's head looks a bit too big in comparison and the neck a bit too long.

Actually, of those 3, the only one with perfect proportions is Maul imo.

Well... Sort of yeah lol. I snagged one from hlj and then when cdjapan had them I ordered 3, one for my cousin and two extra for me, but I didn't fully trust them so when amiami put it up I ordered the 3 again as insurance. Now they have all shipped except amiami lol.

Wow that's a lot. But if you got the dough, I'd say go for it. IMO, it's still a lot. I would think two is plenty, especially if this turns out to be an issue like Vader was, I doubt it would be, but who knows. :lecture

The dark background in the photo is messing with you guys. Luke's head appears to be more prominent cause it's the only light thing on the figure. As for maul, the entire back half of his head is barely visible cause his red tattoos stand out so well.

I got mine from amazon for $24.99. There are some sellers on there too that have them fulfilled by amazon so they ship from an amazon warehouse and not from Japan.
Thanks, actually, that's the price (shipped) I'd get from the sellers in Japan.

I'm located in Mexico, so it's cheaper for me to get them from Japan, funny enough.

Not only that if you notice the position of the feet on Maul, he is a inch or so away from Luke and a few inches in front of Vader in this pic . It throws the perspective off because they aren't lined up correctly.

Plus the angle of a full sculpt of hair of Luke to the bald horned HS of Maul can make it look smaller as well.

I also agree that out of the three, Maul looks the most proportioned.

In case you haven't seen the reviews, the Vader model kit when completed is pretty basic, it needs the decals or you could paint in the details :lecture

Yeah I know, but it's the best proportionate of all the 6" Vader figures, has the perfect shape and glossy finish for the helmet, I can paint the details easily and I can get him a cloth cape, It blows every other 6" vader out of the water.

Oh it's way too many. I wanted 1 to open and 1 or 2 to keep MISB, so I'll be selling off 3 if I can. Dumb paranoia.

On a separate note, does anyone have the Revoltech X-Wing? Thinking of adding one to my hlj order before I ship it. But I can't find any in hand info for quality or more importantlyC scale reference.

These look awesome, I like how Phasma looks female as opposed to the manly Hasbro version and Kylo's lightsaber looks great too!

Kylo's hilt is so far the most detailed out of the all the ones I've seen so far in 1/12.

I wonder maybe the hood gets warped out later in the movie, I can't see figuarts making the hood so flared out on purpose :thud:

Thanks Orb! Always on top of this ****!:clap

Tamashii is subtle enough in sculpting to get those finer feminine details out. I don't think it's doable qualitatively to have a phasma that's accurately chromy. It'd chip off I think.

Looking at Kylo's hood it seems hard to manipulate it into being more accurate. Otherwise in a pose like that he's just great, the rubber actually captures the pattern well. Just that damn hood.

I know, it's just a hood..why can't any company get it right in 1/12 :slap

Maybe if Neca got the rights to SW..never happen though :dunno

C'mon sculptors..think SCREAM movies :panic:

This is a great phasma picture from the link Orb provided just now:

@Guyver1 It could be the designs they were handed. A company that makes things as detailed as this needs stuff enough in advance, especially if they release it THIS early. Kylo's hood isn't consistently shown in all artwork, so, dunno, I'd find it a feasible explanation.
