I think she looks amazing and I'll definitely get her. The best thing is that the finished figure will look this good as this test shot was done using the exact same process as the production ones. People may be going gaga over the HT one, but, while all JC Hong's prototypes look good, we've seen numerous times that they don't all turn out like that when they hit the retailers.

I haven't been unimpressed with a Figuarts yet and they seem to be going from strength to strength. Even if the movie tanks Margot Robbie's look will become pretty iconic. Right now you can't go past a single newsagent without seeing her gaping down at you. A miniature version of that will be as close to her as we're likely to get, which ain't no bad thing!

Hmm,

Just looked at an eBay listing for her and it said she wouldn't be out till Feb 2017, is this a date anyone else has heard? You'd think they'd want to have something out when the movie is, not when it'll be out on DVD/BluRay....

it december for japan

Thanks, that's not so bad. In two minds whether to PO now or wait, I don't want to miss out that's for sure. That said, there are still active listings for SW offerings that everyone was rampantly pre-ordering, so, we'll wait and see. I haven't seen any figures completely sell out yet.

They've definitely altered the booty to be more in line with what we saw on screen.

I'd be inclined to agree with that. It would have been nice to have seen the other heads on display. I keep seeing her up for PO, but she hasn't been up on MyKombini yet. I'd prefer to get her from them, but will go with someone else if I have to. Despite all the hoo ha there's been surrounding bad press, I still want her regardless.

Anyone else get this recently? I got her yesterday and she seems to be okay from what I can tell. No pics yet sadly. I'm at work.

That said, the paint and colors on the head sculpts look kinda flat and uninspired, compared to the prototype, much moreso than I was expecting. Granted, I was heading out the door for work as I looked her over, lol.

I received mine today. She looks amazing! I keep forgetting how small these are.
Isn't almost everyone doing this scale now though?

There's been some controversy about the new dcu lines shrinking figures and I think it might have something to do with the figuarts and mafex lines? Then again, I could be completely wrong, as this is literally my first figuarts ever.

Anyway, how does the paint application look on yours? Specifically in the face(s)? Does it look slightly off and/or dull compared to what you expected?

LOL, I'd completely forgotten about this thread, otherwise I would have posted mine sooner.

I think she's exactly as I expected her to be. Pics don't tend to do her justice and it's only really when you see her in hand that you really appreciate her. Speaking of hands, I had a nightmare getting the hand that holds her bat onto the wrist. I made the mistake of putting the hand on the bat first and then trying to get it on the wrist. I snapped the bat, right where the peg was! It took me AGES to glue it back together so I was happy with it. I touched up the repair as best I could, but, even now, I pose her with the bat behind her head. Here's some pics:

Just remember what I said about pics not doing her justice. If you like her, buy her, she's definitely the best Harley in this scale.

I may pick up the two Mafex ones as well, if they don't decide to make a figuarts version of her wearing the dress.

Although they are starting to add cloth goods to some figures, I'm just not sure if we'd see an SHF Harley in a dress. The prison suit is more of a possibility.

In hand 100X more impressive- flash lighting washes the fine details out- Bandai has made the most impressive action figure of her by far...

So does daylight on occasion, which is what I take the majority of my pics in. Figuarts are awkward as the detail does look off if you do get too close.

Got a really good pose out of her, but waiting to take pics when the stand comes in. Seems kind of strange that one of the most posable figure lines neglects to include stands with their figures, opting to sell them off separately instead.

Man, if play-arts did that... I probably wouldn't have as many of those as I do. Those things are huge and are fast approaching 1/6 prices from years past.

That was the major concern I had about her, whether or not she could stand up. I was very surprised when she did, and she hasn't shelf dived once, she's the only one of my figures that hasn't and the one I thought would the most. Go SHF!
