Chap (or any other PR fan) my son wants to watch the PR tv shows.

What are the seasons I should have him watch?

:hi5:

I'm late to the party. :lol

I'm going to be in minority here, but I think your son will like the later stuff MUCH MUCH better.

Honestly, I'd start him on Dino Thunder or Dino Charge. I'd stick with Dino Thunder because you'll get Tommy Oliver (nostalgia factor for you), but in a much more updated story/effects, etc. which I think your son will like. You still get the Dino vibes too similar to the first 3 seasons. Dino Thunder is even newer, so I think he'll like it even more, but it'll be less interesting for you (likely.)

MY personal favorite seasons: MMPR (S1-3); In Space; Lost Galaxy; Ninja Storm; Dino Thunder; SPD. And I have to give props to Time Force and RPM.

hey... hey jye.... psss... psss jye.... hey jye

trust snake, follow his advice. Chapter has gone crazy from this movie not doing well, trust what we told you, chapter has been compromised :( :slap :panic:

I've seen those HD pics of the PR suits circulating - like the one above. Love them.

Nice avi, crows. :rock

Crows is indeed sporting very cool avi-sig combo.

I keep gawking at the sig.

Holy crap crows, Chap went off the deep end.

I wanted to post a correction to my last post:

Dino Thunder came before Dino Charge, and thus it is not newer series.

All of Mighty Morphin, Zeo, Space, Galaxy, and Time Force.

Time Force is argueably the best written and most morally complex of the PR shows. At least the ones that I saw. And whats more, presents it in a way that kids can understand. Not a common combination.

Maybe our mothers have the same name?

Laughed out loud at this one.

I'm gunna go see PR a second time tomorrow. Movie opens in a bunch more territories next week. It will finally hit South Korea later this month and China in May, those are big ones. Lionsgate already made its money back millions ago because of how they sold foreign distribution rights to cover production costs, so lets hope it performs well internationally as it hits more territories since those are the buyers they'd have to convince if they were trying to fund a sequel.

Hunh lol

I guess first time as the GR then the WR.

My son is asking lol.

It's a loaded question, jye. We, fans, take these questions seriously. :lol

For Green Ranger: Green with Evil.

For White Ranger: White Light.

All during the MMPR run.

:lol

So Tommy returned after MMPR, interesting.

Oh, yeah. I mean technically he continued into Zeo and Turbo as the lead ranger of the team. Then went away and came back in Dino Thunder...the same Dino Thunder I told you to start first, but you blatantly held no regard for my opinion nor feelings when you made the decision to start MMPR instead.

His boy needs to start at the first season.... why would u start him in the future

I'm not sure how old his son is but I'm thinking it might be hard to keep his attention with MMPR. I think Dino Thunder will be more 'eye candy' visually with the effects, etc.

Hmmm interesting.

I was actually quite shocked while watching S1 E1 with my son how quickly things progressed from the kids first meeting Zordon to them piloting the Megazord!

That sequence of events was literally only 4 minutes long lol

Their discovery and becoming Rangers in the movie is like TDK compared to that 1st episode.

My 8 year old was loving it BUT he then began to already fidge during episode 4 with the simplicity of it all.

Let me see how he progresses with season 1 before deciding if I need to violate crows law and jump forward a few shows.

I want him to experience the Tommy arc especially since he's aware of the character from his instructors talking about it.

It certainly doesn't help that he watched the new movie before watching the tv show.
