If I was going to get this, it would have to be the exclusive.

The comparison picture between the regular Stormtrooper and Sandtrooper makes me think that the price increase will be appropriate.

Looks very good. I hope that just because of the backpack and weathering that SS doesn't decide to hike the price up any higher than the regular Stormtrooper. I'm going to pre-order, I hope I don't have to cancel later on though. Also I wish it would have came with the binoculars.

I note that the description mentions there will be a flex-pay option for this figure is that a first and does it suggest a high price tag.

I believe this is the first time Sideshow has offered the Flex-Pay option on a item under $300. I would venture to say that this is probably a result of Sideshow adapting to the tough economic times. Sideshow must be listening to all the cancellation feedback they must have aquired these past few months.

EDIT: It seems SSC has plenty of items at least $250 on FP.

That's $120 with shipping. I don't see how this figure is worth $20 more than the regular trooper. I'll most likely have to end up canceling this one unless it doesn't release until Q3 '09.

Compared to a clean stormtrooper, $20 more for the extra accessories and work put into them, plus the weathering and dirtying of the figure, doesn't seem too bad an increase.

Ok, looks good. Not enough changes with the helmet, but it looks like they caught all the other differences between the stormie and Santrooper...I am very happy with this one.

$109 is a very fair price

Flex pay is a welcome change...I will definitely do that...!

Exclusive is ok - kinda lame....I do prefer the droid part to another blue figure though!!!

Personally, I prefer a whole new hand and ring as an exclusive rather then just the ring. Not sure if I'd display him holding the ring, but I like having the option.
