good to hear Mark and yes, medicom's are quite expensive, you should really try to hunt down a marmit, they are really cool and easy to put together.

Luis, I love the small ones, they are great. But if I collect any more Star Wars toys the Mrs is gonna feed me to the Rancor (AKA The Mother in Law LOL)

And yautja, I want to get one more Medicom Sandtrooper, and I will pay homage to the Bantha Squad!! gonna be dirty as hell LOL. But the Medicom Sandtrooper seem so expensive in the UK.

The Medis are kind of expensive in general. Speaking of which, I love that one you put on a Slim TT.

And in other matters, are we all insane to spend 100 dollars plus on each figure only to spend another 30 for a new body to swap it over to?? That's just stupid. That being said I've bought six True-Types in the last two weeks.

Me too, I don't collect the little ones but I do collect stormtroopers, dewbacks, Jabba and jawas so everytime I see a little figure of them I buy it. With moderation too of course, otherwise I would need a separate house just for the troopers, lol.

I think our mrs's are v similar! She thinks it wrong that a soon to be 37 year old man collects and plays with dollies. What is she on about its perfectly normal. Isn't it?

I found the abdomine of the TT was a bit thicker than sideshows, which meant the armour wouldn't close properly and made Luke look fat next to Han. Also the thighs were a bit thicker, I didn't feel like dremmeling my new toy! So the thigh armour was pretty tight. I think the legs may be a touch shorter, everytime I bent the knees, the lower leg armour was pushed down and popped the feet off!

I liked the tighter body, but felt I was swapping one set of small niggles for another, so I decided to fix up the original and use the TT for something else...

And I don't know what's wrong with the wives? I'll be 39 in October and still like toys, motorbikes, carry on films & fart jokes! I think your perfectly normal!!!

Now stop buggin me, I'm tring to paint my first 1:6 scale head ( jango fett) and I'm messing up the hairline!

Holy crap Mark! 56 ea? To be honest it runs me more like 35 ea after shipping. I just used some reward points and got a couple for just shipping through SS, felt good to get something for nothing.

Yeah same here when I put the SS trooper outfit on the true type it just did not sit right and was even worse when I over boiled the chest plate!! LOL.

What is wrong with our wives???? Why don't they like a good carry on film and I am sorry but bodily functions are just v amusing!!

TT's are just too expensive, i just wish SS would make their bodies more stable. Oh i messed about with my 6 SS stormies again. I added gauze to the legs so the armour is nice and tight. I also retaped them all with that 3M micropore surgical tape, their even more stable now :chew

Yeah that's right. They looked OK and were a slight improvement over the standard body "out of the box." But I didn't feel it was that much better.

Since I padded out and tightened up the SS bodies they've both been standing on the desk for 24 hours, no face plants! And I think the armour looks more comfortable, for want of a better word, on them.
