Hi Dorgs

I found the abdomine of the TT was a bit thicker than sideshows, which meant the armour wouldn't close properly and made Luke look fat next to Han. Also the thighs were a bit thicker, I didn't feel like dremmeling my new toy! So the thigh armour was pretty tight. I think the legs may be a touch shorter, everytime I bent the knees, the lower leg armour was pushed down and popped the feet off!

I liked the tighter body, but felt I was swapping one set of small niggles for another, so I decided to fix up the original and use the TT for something else...

And I don't know what's wrong with the wives? I'll be 39 in October and still like toys, motorbikes, carry on films & fart jokes! I think your perfectly normal!!!

Now stop buggin me, I'm tring to paint my first 1:6 scale head ( jango fett) and I'm messing up the hairline!

I haven't painted a head in years and i never did like doing them. They say less is best though.

In my defence, It's only the base coat. I haven't started to add Shading and Highlights yet (Or indeed Eye's!) I think he's salvageable if he can stay out of Shazza's Tan & Nail Salon.

Oh, and my Sandie say's Hi - He's trying to keep this thread vaguely OT!

I would use a few fleshy brown washes m8 and slowly build it up.

LOL ow man, that's so cool. I am not an expert but I suggest a smaller brush than the 2 inch one you must have used and not use bright orange paint

I would have started with a grey spray primer base then gone straight to flat flesh with a smidge of brown added, then done some very light washes afterwards. Goodluck with the eyes as i hate doing eyes their poo plops to do.

Maybe its glow in the dark paint that would be cool.

here's my sandtrooper 'heavily weathered" squad. 2 marmits and 1 medicom

cosbaby batman didnt get to be in the squad but still sneaked his way into the picture.

Killer weathering on those. NICE.

I have a Marmit Sandie that I have had for years. This thread has made me want to try my hand at customizing mine. For a new body, which is the best? Will a True Type work?

I don't have a Marmit Gus but from chatting to these chaps I am pretty sure truetype is the way to go.
