Based on this one pic my preliminary impression is I don't like the hair. I would really like to see the concept art that was used. However, I'm looking forward to the full reveal.

He looks pretty good from what I can see, but from that angle he kinda looks like he's concentrating on picking up a 7 10 split.

He holds his staff with his right arm stretched back anyway. I think the reg will be with his left hand just pointing, like in the video.

I'm sold on the costume alone.

So happy they're getting the fabric details in there. The real Saruman costume that Christopher Lee wears is super subtle, with lots of patterns and embroidery. It's not just white robes. So it's great to see that they're trying to replicate some of that instead of taking the easier route.

I have the impression the palantir can vary its size. If you notice at the beginning of ROTK, Saruman holds it in his palm. Anyway I am definitely getting this.

I caught that too. Amazing detail. I sent the picture to my cousin for that reason alone. He's a huge fan but not an SSC collectore, who knows one of these might convert him
