I've been trying to get that point across. The end of the world will not happen for a very,very long time and we'll have no idea when it does happen.
Also trying to use some ancient calendar as a way to predict armageddon just further proves that we are so clueless as to when it will happen.

The Bible says the end will come when not one righteous man exists on earth. So even though theres alot of evil,theres still plenty of good and the good will always out weigh the bad.

So yea I don't know if this doomsday trend is just a new fear tactic or a fad but I hope it dies out soon.
People just need to continue living an honest hard working life and we'll all be fine.

I agree. And the verses teemu quoted should immediately come to mind for any Christian.

But you don't seriously believe he's unaware of those verses do you?

Departing from doctrines stating no one can know the time of Christ's second coming, he teaches that the exact times of the Rapture and the End of the World are to be revealed sometime towards the end of time: (Daniel 12:9-13) prophecy.

What’s the point? In other words, Judgment Day is the end of the world. That means that the whole world is in judgment, it will not be business as usual at all. At all. Nothing that goes on is important any longer, either if you’re a true believer and you’re caught up to be with Christ, of which there are many people that this will happen to, but on the other hand, there will be almost 7 billion people who will be in a tremendous, terrible situation undoubtedly. With those kind of earthquakes millions will die and the Bible teaches that they will not be buried, in fact there’ll be no one to bury them it’ll be so awful. It will not be business as usual at all. This world will be in chaos. It will be in awful suffering.
