Hey gang! Isn't it the Planet of the Apes Legacy collection that contains the Conquest dvd with the extra footage? I saw the 40th anniverary Blu Ray POTA collection with the conquest extra footage, but was not 100% on the other collection.

The extra "bloody" footage and the alternate ending to CONQUEST was not released on DVD. You can only get it on Blu-Ray. The Legacy Collection does have all the extra footage from BATTLE though.

ProtoZaius - When will we actually see the remainder of Conspiracy Cards? When is the next Comic Con? I think that's when they're coming out.

When I talked to the guys at SDCC about the cards, they were unsure as when or how the rest will be distributed.

We need to keep an ear out.

We sure do! (Any idea when the next Comic Con is???)

I picked up the first 5 Consiracy cards. I'm thinking they might become pretty hard to come by as time goes on. I just love the artwork on them. :monkey5

"Timeline of the Planet of the Apes: The Definitive Chronology"
Have any of you read this book? If so, what do you think? I've been thinking about picking this up, but it's $29.99.

I haven't gotten the book and I don't know anything about it, but I would say... save your money. You I and probably know more about the time line than the authors of this book do.

I just did a cut and paste from the website below: I did NOT catch the following 2 points before!

"BLAM! will publish its POTA tales as illustrated novels, blending beautiful, full-color, fullpage paintings with smaller black-and-white illustrations and rich storytelling in a hardcover book format."

Greetings fellow apes. I hope this note finds you in good health. The weather here has been unpredictable at best and the free standing mosquito nets we have traveled with are worth their weight in gold. A rhinovirus has been slowly decimating our members, but we were able to get medicine before it did too much damage.

I have missed you all so much. I travel back in five days' time. I was happy to see that this thread is still on the top pages.

Long live Planet of the Apes!!!

My love to all.

Jess.

Thanks for writing us, you're missed here by all Jessica. It'll be great to get you back here as a regular! Take care of yourself and the "troops" that you have with you. Talk to you you in 5 days. :)

I glued the glyphs to the sleeves of Zaius. Now, I need to hand sew his shoulder glyphs to his shoulders.

I believe I'll also re-paint all of the glyphs AND that pleather strip on his SideShow sleeves. That way, the glyphs and the pleather strip will be the exact same color as each other. I think it'll look better.

I don't have it in my collection, yet, but is said to be the best, most complete version of the timeline ever done.

I "haired up" these female hands early this morning for these 2 female background apes. I'll paint them today and get them off of the project table.

Hey Ironman – Since you’re putting boots on all your mutants, what are you going to do with your Sideshow mutant shoes and socks? I could use 5 pairs of those. :naughty

Here’s Dodge at the Tribunal! Impossible you say?

During the hunt, a gorillas bullet actually did strike Dodge in the head. However, due to a previous war injury, that steel plate located at the base of his skull actually saved his life!
