Did someone do a Landon sculpt? I know Jess did Dodge but I can't recall Landon and couldn't find any pix.

He has not been done as far I can tell. Rory from the Apes Yahoo group sent me a lot of clear shots of him, but I have not tried to sculpt him. The humans are frustratingly difficult to sculpt, and I am still fighting my battles with Burke. I don't know how I managed to do Dodge. I think he was a fluke.

That's really cool. I love the humans in front--very naturally posed. I am really surprised Drew Gaska did not ask Neil from the PotaDG to draw for the Conspiracy book.

I think that the Dodge sculpt is my favorite of all sculpts that you have did Jess! I still want him! He is truly a work of art!

Yeah. Neil's work is among my favorite POTA "comic" art. I think 2nd only to Ploog. Actually, may be even between the two as Ploog was doing original characters and Neil was using existing ones. Damn! Now i have to dig out all my apes art and read it over again!

Here is a photo of the Caesar cast. He is available if anybody's interested, $30 if w/in US $35 elsewhere. I will only pour as needed because I don't want to waste the resin. I will clean up the seam line. You must dremel the neck hole.

Whoo! Another successful cast! This is the President of the Academy. Is it crazy of me to want to sculpt Dr. Zaius? I may. Crazy or not, it will add variety. Then I will start on the chimpanzees. Stay tuned for Dr. Maximus. I will pour a cast of him tonight and see if it's a successful mold or not.

I have to say I think I like Dr. Maximus the best... Although all are stellar sculpts and you have captured the essence of each character perfectly.

You have really become a fantastic sculptress!

I never looked at that environment piece like that PZ, but you are correct. I love the arched doorway and the color scheme. I would like to rebuild Ape City again. I plan to move out of my apartment within the next 4-6 months. I will never forget the look of the Landlord when she saw what I had done to her living room. She's been so good to me.

Sticks, I would have loved to be able to make Ape city like you did.
Imagine how cool it could be if we all got together with all of our POTA figures, accessories and extras, etc... What a grand display that would be!!

I still have to show Angel's wagon. I also bought a chicken carrying cage made out of bamboo which I think will work nicely as a Human cage. I'll try to take some photos later tonight.


Jess, would you know how to make 1:6 Epaulettes?
