To Kill a Mockingbird - When we see Boo Radley behind the door. It gets me every damned time.

And if you've never seen To Kill a Mockingbird, that'll make me cry.

many of the above (especially The Irongiant/Superman scene)

But the first movie I remeber crying to was when Chaplin dies in Limelight.

ROTK --- you bow to no one

That one gets me everytime. Any scenes that have to do with honor. The new king and his people bowing down to the hobbits, it's just humbling. Also when Frodo and Gandalf leave at the end.

At the end of Braveheart when Mel screams freedom before he is beheaded and the crazy Irishman closes his eyes. Also the very end where the Scottish king ask Wallaces soldiers to fight with him and the red headed guy yells and tosses Wallaces sword.

The end of Ghost also got to me as well as the end of Marley and Me. Seen that one in the theatre with the wife and 4 daughters. I was severely choked up they were openly crying.

One more. End of Dances With Wolves when Costner is leaving and the one proud indian who didn't like Costner before was telling him that he was now his friend.

The end of Big Fish gets me every time. The mixture of sadness and joy, coupled with the father/son dynamic really choked me up. :monkey2

I cried when they showed flashbacks of the torturing of the little girl in "A Time To Kill" and then when they showed her walking down the road to get help I cried some more. I cheered when the guys got shot in the end.

My dad sobbed at the end of that movie. Which in turn made me tear up.

I'm not religious, but in the The Passion of the Christ when Jesus is being crucified.
As Mary is watching him being torchered, she remembers him falling over as a child and hurting himself. She picks him up and comforts him to a really heart churning score.

Oh that one got me too. Being slightly religious I cried several times during that movie. But that scene in particular was moving for non-religious reasons.

The ending of Big Fish...
