I've always meant to read Scott Pilgrim but never got around to it. Very popular amongst my students, many of which are bit pissed that Cera is playing him. I'll check this out, looks quirky enough.

I've read the first 3 books and I liked them. Looking forward to the movie, especially if it's Edgar Wright directing.

I'm not sure Michael Cera was the right choice to play Scott Pilgrim though. From what I've seen of him (a lot), he just plays different shades of Michael Cera -- the awkward nerd that mumbles under his breath. It was good in Arrested Development, but wears thing before long.

It certainly does have the quirky feel of the comics down. I recently finished the 5 volumes that are out, and am eagerly awaiting the final volume.

Never read any of the comics, but that trailer looked pretty cool actually. Definitely something I'd like to see in theatre!!

this looks strangely appealing to me, same vive I got from Kick-ass which I really liked. I'm in.

On AOTS, they were saying this will have the success that Kick Ass should have had because of a larger audience appeal, meaning rated PG, less violence, and marketing to young girls. Still have yet to watch the trailer, but looks like I'm going to have to check it out. Have never heard of this story before tonight.
